I love to listen to reasonable, non-hackish people, sure. I'm talking about the usual hacks who say the same thing every time the opposing party is in the White House.

I have claimed I would prefer Pence today over trump, but I think that's also a claim from relatively ignorance about Trump. It's a gamble, Trump is a known problem, Pence is a question mark, but at least has political pedigree. I don't know what Pence is like, in the way I now know Trump is like. If Pence does take the white house, I think I should reserve judgement on whether he's acceptable for the nation or not. His Christianity bothers me, but he's free to pursue his religion, as long as he doesn't try to put it into policy, that won't have me crying foul at least. I'd like to think it's statistically hard to be as bad as Trump.

Pence is a "regular" Christian Right Wing republican, albeit one who thinks Democratic institutions and the rule of law are generally acceptable concepts. Thinking long term, we can survive a President Pence just fine. I'm not convinced the nation can survive 3.5 more years of a President Trump.

This story is not new. Only the abrupt ending of the trail is new.

Many reputable sources have covered this story and at least one best selling book was written about it. Many Americans don't know about it because it cannot be accurately reported in television news sound bites.

Further this story does NOT represent the end of any possible investigations of Trump money laundering. It does not disconnect him or his Russian/Soviet block criminal business partners from illegally obtained money being invested in US real estate or Canadian real estate or his probable illegal real estate partnership in Kyrgyzstan.

Pence really is an unknown. It is reported that he worked with Trump to fire Comey. If true that gives reason for concern.

If Trump is tossed out I sincerely Sessions is dismissed. Sessions should be in deep trouble for not honoring his promise to recuse himself from anything related to the Trump/Campaign investigation.

I wasn't concerned with anyone who wanted him fired. I don't believe Comey should have been fired. I think he was wrong regarding the Hillary letter. I do not think it cost her the election however. Hillary cost Hillary the election.

Comey's dismissal was and is a gawdawful mangled mess. Trump can't do wrong right.

I had a conversation recently with another person who voted for neither Trump or Hillary. He's Right of Trump, with a hard conservative Constitutional/Free Market idealism. While I am Left of Trump, with a strong social liberalism flare. But we both saw each candidate as crooks who we could not vote for under any circumstance.

We shared our opinions on what we believe may have happened had Hillary won. Surprisingly, we both drew the same conclusion because we do not hold similar political beliefs. So, our analysis should have diverged. But, it didn't. Not at all.

Conclusion: The armed and dangerous alt-right would have torn this country apart. Think Bundy's Nevada stand-off, but in all 50 states.

Finances being investigated, yes, but I've never seen a claim of an indictment of any kind until this one.
From a quick search I see the only sites carrying this indictment news are of the Kos ilk and they all point back to Taylor & Mensch.
To be fair, T & M do say that their blockbuster piece is an exclusive so I'd expect nothing less.

And they have quite an array of stories on their website.
Like the one about Orrin Hatch taking over when Trump is driven out.
That's because Pence & Ryan will be found to be implicated in all manner of evildoing.
So the Presidency will fall to Hatch.

They do want donations so go for it.

Hatch rocks me no more than Ryan and Pence.

Sites like that have to depend on people already inclined to believe anything you're selling.
You can ensnare a lot of poor souls if you can throw in some technical jargon with actual factoids along with the shizz you're peddling on sites like that.
Makes it really sound like an in-depth journalist effort.
If you're really good at it and have somewhat of a reputation you might even get 50 grand from the FBI for more of the same.
