Things I don't understand about anti-Trump haters

1.....If you think he is a pathological liar, why do you believe him when he says something you don't agree with?

2.....If you think Trump is undemocratic for his attack on the media, where was this outrage when Barack Obama was saying Foxnews had a "destructive viewpoint," or when Obama blamed Foxnews for the Democrats losing power in the mid-term election or Hillary losing the election because of Fox?

3.... going back to point 2, why is Trump being attacked for his treatment of the media when Obama only took prescreened questions from media outlets that were favorable to his positions?

Trump called the ENTIRE media 'enemy of the American people' a level or two lower in hell than saying Faux noise possesses a destructive viewpoint

I'd rather Trump answered pre-screened questions rather than his childish tweets. Or had his minions give a variety of versions of his 'alternate facts'. A series of carefully thought out answers that just might have some closeness to the verifiable facts would be refreshing from the Tweeter in Chief

I don't see Trump eager to pardon/reward any of the current crop of leakers (he wants those leaking on him hunted down), i don't see him welcoming Snowden back to this country or embracing Assuage. But for the most part the hackers and leakers are HELPING him so why would he go after them???

Comparing Trump to Obama is like comparing Nixon to Carter- yet another epic fail for the koolaid drinkers... eace

I'll indulge your first point because it bears being discussed out.

Trump is a liar. He contradicts himself often within the span of a minute or two. You can't really press him to take a stance on a position because he will change his stance a minute later. This means that nothing he says can be believed. So, if Trump is always lying 100% of the time, you can't hold Trump to any statements he makes. If you want to ridicule him for saying something you don't like and simultaneously call him a liar, those two things are contradictory, because whatever he said you diagree with, coming out of Trump's mouth, is likely either a fabrication or an incorrect statement. However sometimes Trump accidently tells the truth, without meaning it. He sprinkles the truth in with 20 lies. So, you have to look for context clues and external evidence to discern the truth in Trump's statements.

Because he sprinkles in lies when describing what he wants to do. It's not an either-or situation. "I'm going to build a giant wall and I'm going to make Mexico pay for it." The Mexico paying for it is the lie he knows will never happen and I oppose his building of a wall. Do you see how that's not a contradiction? He can lie in the same sentence he truthfully expresses his intentions.

There are thousands upon thousands of examples of his over the past 18 months. Do you have no issue with someone who spews objective, provable lies every time he gets in front of a camera? Is that the kind of man child your moral compass points you to support.

Barack Obama didn't declare all news media as the enemy of the American people. The entire interactions and tone of Trump with the media has been dramatically more adversarial than pretty much any president ever.
