Comey told Congress that Russian probe targets didn't include Trump

Congressional officials were told by FBI Director James Comey before he was fired that there are just a small number of Americans who are targets of the criminal or counterintelligence probes involving Russia and that none were President Trump or his top aides, Circa has confirmed.

Behind closed doors, Comey provided specific updates on about a half dozen or less targeted US citizens who were the focus of either counterintelligence probes or criminal investigations emanating from the Russia election scandal, sources familiar with the intelligence told Circa.

I thought we already knew that months ago.

Even clapper came out denying any evidence against the campaign whatsoever. On national TV no less.

Circa is one of the more reasoned outlets lately. I like they way they seek multiple sources before running with a story.

Its refreshing to see professional journalism.

That is what Trump said too, now we just need to get it sourced, and maybe get the so-called journalists to report the news.

Why would journalists report the news when they can make it up?
 
I think I recall this from that time, I thought it was in the press back then. Maybe it was only closed door, but I seem to recall them saying certain people were not targets at that time (and being disappointed).

In any case, Trump was an asshat for writing that in the firing letter (and he should not have fired him only by letter).
He should have just tweeted it. Wait, no, that's dumb too.

He should have had a press conference and included that fact, and cited that date/time, and put this all to rest. <-- if he only had a brain...(queue Wizard of Oz music)

These folks tickle me with their idiotic "Trump lovefests". I am pretty sure Trump is one of the biggest "Hobnobbing" snobs on the entire planet. The only common folks around Trump are those waiting tables and mowing lawns at Mara-a-Lago.

You refuse to learn...Trump noticed all of the so called deplorables that everyone else either could not see or would not admit to seeing precisely because he is the opposite of how you have him in your mind, and the fact that Trump can go so far as to beat all of the pro's (And I remind you that the pro's Trump beat were advertised as the best that the pro's had on offer...and he beat them all, mostly without so much as a sweat) and yet you still are found to be refusing to learn is really sad, you know?

If you choose to worship a habitual lying, sexual deviate, then that is your "lack of character" cross to bear. I do wish you the best in your "cultism" recovery efforts though. I would remind you that there are much better role models for you to support if your lack of self esteem needs such idolizing reinforcement. Mine simply does not.
