Harvard: Racists or Community builders

Lots of spin, but in the end you're just trying to justify an anti-white attitude. Just admit it, you don't care about multiculturalism and diversity. You just want to stick it to whites.

At no point am I arguing against whites, against multiculturalism, or against diversity. Rather, I recognize that racism and discrimination have created asymmetries in political, social, economic and cultural power; and that "treating everyone equal under the law" does not mean "we should whitewash our history, politics, society and culture."

As to your post? Pathetic spin, but in the end you're just trying to ignore what people actually believe, so you can jam their actual square-peg beliefs into your round-hole criticisms.

Just admit it, you're not interested in an actual debate. You just want to stick it to minorities.

Are you able to go back in time and read my mind now? Spooky ;)

Again: My reply to phattonez was sarcastic; Chill took it seriously, and made the factually incorrect claim that the Republicans were more diverse in 2016 than the Democrats; I corrected him.

Uh, hello? I did not make a literal claim that "every Republican elected to federal office is a white man." Especially since I cited statistics that proved the contrary.

No, I was specifically correcting Chill's deeply incorrect assertion that the Republicans are more diverse than the Democrats -- a claim neither of you have substantiated.

1) I explicitly stated in #128 that I was being sarcastic.

2) It is not my problem if you can't pick up on fairly obvious sarcasm.

This guy is defending the racist, segregated Congressional Black Causus which does not admit whites to its club

Seriously?

The CBC is racist?

Seriously? That's your position?

If blacks can do it, then whites should be able to do it. Fair is fair.

What's racist is that you can have a Congressional Black Caucus, but not a Congressional White Caucus.

What exactly is your expertise in Black Cultue?

How long have you been Black?

I think "black culture" is BS. Culture is established by traditions and such, not physical attributes. So-called "black culture" is either inclusive of blacks nor exclusive of others.

And one needn't be black to study anthropology. Are you suggesting that a culture can only be studied by members of that culture? That's so stupid.

Well, I guess you have no othe recourse but to whine and cry on political forums. Or you can personally communicate your concerns to a actual Black individual, in person. Either way, I don't care how you handle your personal problems with Black people. After all, they're your problems.

I have no idea what you're babbling about. Apparently, you misunderstood something or credited me with someone else's position.

If you're looking for racism, this thread has plenty; so, go find some.
