Did Trump lie about Comey?

Because he saw what happened to Yates - who was also highly recommended and confirmed. He sold out his principles because he knows what happens when you do the right and constitutional thing rather than the Trump thing.

Oh, so he is a piece of **** because you don't like what did. Figures.

No, because he if wouldnt be an accomplice to this obstruction of justice then he too would have been sacked.

There was no obstruction of justice.

A couple of weeks ago Comey said he was ' mildly nauseous' thinking he might have had an impact on the election. IMO that's a swipe, a small swipe, but still a swipe at Trump.

And we all know how childish and thin skinned Trump is.

That could have been another reason for his firing.

Maybe you can provide your old posts which expressed your outrage over Comey when he initially caved in to Giuliani and the rogue NY-FBI office, and torpedoed HRC's electoral chances?

I will leave that clerical task to you. ;)

Showing my post approving of Comey commenting on an ongoing investigation is up to you. There are hundreds of posts relating to Comey statements about the Clinton private email server prior to the election - which are the "good" Comey statements about that (then) ongoing investigation?

In his letter to Comey, Trump claims that Comey had lost the confidence of the rank and file of FBI agents and thus would be unable to lead the Bureau. According to many folks within the FBI, this is simply not the case. Comey appears to have had overwhelming support within the FBI. As such, Trump's explanation as to the firing may not be square with the truth. Imagine that..........:(

Where are you getting your information?

Firing the person investigating you is obstruction of justice.

Why do you think the director of the FBI was all by himself conducting this investigation, if any exist?

He was the lead investigator. This is the beginning of the end of the Trump administration.

No, he wasn't. You dudes need to take a management class. :lamo

He certainly isn't doing it alone, but he was the lead investigator and certainly sends a message when the lead investigator is fired for bogus reasons hours after reports of grand jury subpoenas.

On one hand Trump praises comey for his handling of the Clinton emails on the other hand he fired comey because of his handling of the Clinton emails one of those has to be a lie

No. Just the law enforcement arm.

That would be scary and amount to a coup d'état. Congress and the USSC are the ones to take initial action.

Not at all. If the FBI goes after Trump's illegal activities, it would actually be a good thing. No?
