Comey fired?

Gotta chuckle when you hear guys like Schumer, and probably a lot of people here, say Trump firing Comey now was awfully suspicious because of the Russia investigation.
Would firing him January 21st have made a difference to Chuck?

If you read the letter from the deputy attorney general, it almost looks like they wanted to fire him from day one, from things like letting hillary off the hook, to the fbi director deciding on prosecution when it was not his job, to even his procedures in an election cycle(yes he called out comey for opening his mouth shortly before election day)

So they had plenty of reason to fire him, it just seems the recent news about weiners computer and the emails painted comey as a liar and gave them enough reason to fire him. However the timing was aweful, as everyone and their brother will paint this as trump trying to cover himself.

Probably not, but it would seem more credible to assert a coverup motive if it was simply Trump acting unilaterally ASAP. Why anyone thinks that waiting for the AG and deputy AG to prod Trump into action was deceptive or imprudent is beyond me.

On Colbert last night, he made the announcement about Comey's firing and the audience cheered. That bum Colbert was taken aback. He wasn't expecting that at all.
The liberal Demos have been conditioned to hate Comey, because he screwed up the chance for Hillary to win.
But now, the Left has done a total about face(180) and have been defending Comey. Colbert was nearly speechless.

Comey has violated every rule there is, in conducting this investigation.

Now, I must say that in all my years in following politics, I have never seen this much insanity and unhinged behavior, by the Left. To think that any ongoing investigation by the FBI will stop, because Comey is gone, is ludicrous.
In addition to the FBI investigation, the House and Senate also have investigations going.
Trump is doing everything he can to drive them even crazier and they are falling for it.
Don't forget, Comey told Trump 3 times, "I'm not investigating you" and the insane Left doesn't buy it.

Yup, it won't stop the investigation. A Trump appointed stooge will now lead it. Comey was apparently not someone Trump could control so he had to go. Now a puppet can lead the FBI and put on a good show for us.

Kind of like Obama's puppets Holder and Lynch who committed selective law enforcement toward gun owners and white people? Or Bill Clinton's puppet, Janet Reno who violated the Posse Comitatus Act at Waco?

The people who want this investigation to stop = the people who thought seven Benghazi investigations over several years was perfectly acceptable.
