I have no reason to doubt the articles description of the 49,000 emails they found on Humas laptop, nor can I think of any reason why he would lie about that. Do you?

and consider the Huma/Weiner home to be a secure facility like the Clinton home was.

I have no idea what you are getting at here or how it is relevant to the possibility that the FBI had never seen these "new" emails before.

There was no doubt, none at all, that private homes of State Department folks are not proper places to store classified documents and yet they were intentionally sent to them.

Maybe, but what does have to do with whether or not these "new" emails were emails that the FBI had not previously seen?
