In Right Wing Land, whenever white people end up poor, it's always someone's fault: immigrants, NAFTA, Liberals, Clintons...you get the picture. But, when Black people are poor, it's their fault: no respect for laws and education, no work ethic, bad family values, rap music, their culture, etc.

Just an observation.

The thread intent is to view the issue from a Left/Right political perspective. And, in that, the Left is rather consistent: regardless of color, poverty is the fault of rich people. But, the Right seems to blame Blacks for their own poverty while making excuses for Whites in poverty by pointing to scapegoats, like Blacks getting free stuff, for example.

Just a grossly inaccurate and bigoted idea. It's the same mentality as seen in the people once tried to portray blacks as lazy, watermelon and fried chicken-eating sub-humans. The same as seen in those who portrayed Jews as being money-grubbing. It's all bigotry, chauvinism and hate.

I see plenty of the same victim excuses on both sides, and had to listen to that nonsensical BS on the radio in my dump truck everyday when I shut down my business 2 1/2 years ago. I listened to the same **** on the CB Radio as a owner operator for 6 years. Blacks can be, and often are, just as disgusting as whites while voicing the reasoning of their supposed victim status.

Their reasons are irrelevant!

I am so glad that I decided to go back out on my own, as I grew very tired of the panty waste losers who bitch and complain about everyone else because they are too freaking lazy to go take a course, or obtain certificates of skill.

If you truly believe that there is one speck of difference between loser blacks and loser whites, then you need to get out more because you are definitely viewing the issue from a distance, or by what you read and hear.
