Kasich finds it hard to rule out 2020

That's what I'm thinking might happen. He's going to wait it out a bit and see if the circus train can actually stay on the rails.

Kasich pretty much ensured that Trump got the nomination, he may not be worshiping Trump but his integrity is vastly overshadowed by his ego.

This is true. Kasich is a narcissistic doofus. He went back on many agreements he made to other candidates in the primaries and repeatedly said he would work with them and then selfishly backtracked. This selfishness actually wound up hurting the entire #nevertrump movement including his own efforts. He's an idiot and that's why he's considering running in 2020.

Kasich was certainly the worst one of them but ego really destroyed the whole 2016 primaries. I guess we all see why now that Hillary was such a weak candidate that the GOP didn't have to expand their support at all to win so everyone was fighting to get in because it was a shoe-in for whoever got the nomination. That selfishness gave us a president Trump which the GOP cant get behind because they have no clue where he is going and he changes directions every other sentence.
 
If he is smart and if he is really considering it, he will spend the next 4 years building a platform of ideas and go around the country meeting with people, presenting himself as an adult, and never once speak Trumps name. Or HRC.

Like any moderate, he has no chance in a country that's been taken over by the lunatic fringes.

I do respect him. He refused to play ball with the kochs or play to the Republican media memefests.

Kasich has no personality and everybody saw that during the primaries.

If he can barely win his own state why would he think anything would change in 4 years?

I got that idea by seeing trumps record breaking low poll numbers
