Democrats Are Pretty Happy With Trump?s Wall-Free Budget - Vocativ

On Sunday night, Congress was able to reach a deal that appears to be a major compromise on many of Trump’s demands. The budget has not yet been released to the public, but according to NBC News, it would allocate an additional $12.5 billion for defense spending, which is still $18 billion less than Trump wanted (it could increase to $15 billion if Trump gives Congress a plan to fight ISIS, which should be no problem for him, as he has frequently boasted of having a secret plan to do just that). It gives $1.5 billion to border security, but that’s half of the $3 billion Trump wanted and does not fund the wall. It will increase funding to the National Institutes of Health even though the preliminary partial budget Trump released in March called for decreasing NIH spending. It only cuts the Environment Protection Agency’s budget by one percent and won’t cut government funding to Planned Parenthood at all. It also does not cut funding to sanctuary cities, another big Trump threat. And it provides funding to local law enforcement agencies that have had to spend millions to protect various Trump family members in their jurisdictions.

And, if that's not enough winning, there's this:
May Day Strikes Hit Cities Around The Country | The Huffington Post

The mass protest ― coordinated by labor, immigration and other progressive groups ― served as another early test of the grassroots momentum against the new White House and its right-wing policies. It came on the heels of a climate march that drew tens of thousands to Washington on Saturday.

Backers of the May Day protests saw the day as an ideal opportunity to challenge the Trump administration over its immigration crackdown. The president has promised to ramp up deportations of undocumented workers, strip federal funding from so-called sanctuary cities, and build a wall along the U.S. border with Mexico.

Trump backers must be so sick and tired of winning by now.

If DP is anything to go by, their response is to lie, deny, and attack the left......every single time Trump does or says something ridiculous.

I don't think I have seen one single Trump supporter say that Trump did any one particular thing wrong here.

In fact, they appear to take pride at the fact that other people are disgusted by his constant lying and general incompetence. They think that's the bestest thing ever, because maybe it means a liberal is angry.

So yeah, this is probably a "win", even though it represents Trump being unable to get his own side to back him...

I find it more scary, but hey...

We've entered an era when opinions Trump facts and expertise/specialization - that which has driven human civilization's technological boom for the last several hundred years - is in fact the mark of the enemy.

Never heard of it. But maybe it is right up there with Huffington Post, Mother Jones, Vox, and Salon, not to mention others.

No, they're a news organization, not an opinion outlet. I'd suggest doing some research on them. They aren't even close to those you mentioned (or Breitbart either).

Vocativ (What the hell is that?)? Huffington Post? Calamity's anti-Trump post #3,013. Do you actually have any life at all?
Not until 7 PM when the Cavs game starts. :)

As Yogi Berra would say, "It ain't over til it's over". We're just over 100 days and his presidency goes on for at least another 1300. Don't count your chickens before they're hatched.

So far that fork in the road isn't going in Trump's direction.
