What are your favorite burns or rhetorical comebacks by politicians. As an example, here are two of my favorites:

"People might cite George Bush as proof that you can be totally impervious to the effects of Harvard and Yale education.”

I use that very one, whenever I get a chance, which isn't often. But it's a real stopper, if you can pull it off!

Many years later even Mondale admitted that was the point his campaign was utterly lost (it had no real hope to begin with, but still...). He even complimented how good it was, which made me respect him a bit.
