In a way, I'm thankful for the big lug. Cruz and Rubio have an intellect informed by experience. For example, they know what "whipping for votes" is. Trump, if you asked him today what a whip does in the house, would probably say it tops my hot fudge sundae. Rubio lost the primaries the day Christie went after him and he just kept repeating his same talking point. Cruz hung on for longer than that, but, it was kind of sad. In a Rubio v. Clinton, situation, who knows what would've happened. People were voting just as much against "the establishment" as they were for Trump.

But, yes, ultimately, better for the GOP to have Rubio, IMO. That's why a small part of me is grateful we have such an emotionally under-developed person in the WH. As long as no great harm befalls anyone, I can live with being embarassed for 4 years.

No he just lied about seeing 1000s of Muslims celebrating. Factual statement or not (I really have no idea and don't care) comparing yourself to what happened on 9/11 is jaw dropping stupid, I mean WTF is wrong with the guy, he ain't right in the head and it's disturbing that someone like him is president.

This past election was not a recommendation of Trump. It was a rejection of HRC. Trump was usually within a point or two of Romney across all demographics, but HRC was usually 3-4 points behind Obama's 2012 numbers. The Obama voters either stayed home or voted 3rd party. Trump didn't increase vote totals in a significant way or anything. Absolutely nothing like what Obama got in 08. If you look at the facts of what happened last election, your statements appear to be wishful thinking. And the idea that America is somehow under Trump's revolutionary spell is asinine. His approval rating fluctuates between 35-40%

He also gave a lecture on the Electoral College favoring Democrats to that interviewer. All of this with a straight face despite the fact that Democrats won the popular vote and lost the EC.

Trump spent his formative years in a Military school...which in Trump's case was a reform school for the rich.

Whether he failed to gain skills before or during his stay, Trump failed to form social skills most of us do as a result of normal social interactions.

Hillary Clinton wasn't rejected. She received more votes than Bernie Sanders.

Nice deflection.

Trump did not create any groundswell of support. He did passably okay in the election. Like I said around 1-2 points of Romney across all demographics. HRC just underperformed across all demographics. Trump got lucky he ran against a no-message candidate only offering, "Yeah, did you like Obama? I'll give you more of that ****!"
