In his most recent tweet, the "orange man" himself says that pleasing his base (so much for being the president of ALL America) is his top priority and that building the border wall is the NUMBER ONE priority with his base. Not healthcare. Not tax reform. Not Jobs, jobs, jobs, but the wall. It appears that Trump is so desperate for a win that he is willing to threaten a government shutdown to get funding for the wall.

Now, it is interesting to note that on the campaign trail, the biggest crowd responses came from Trump saying to the crowd: "We are going to build that wall and who is going to pay for it?", to which the crowd would enthusiastically respond: "Mexico"!

Now, Trump has modified his position to say that Mexico will pay for the wall "at a later date" and in a manner "to be determined at a later date"...:lamo

I would like to see a real plan to deal with illegal immigration. I think that issue also effects jobs.

Building the wall is a stupid idea IMO but it would at least try to address the issue. Shutting down the government would be a bad idea and backfire on democrats

So, you would rather see a wall than jobs? Interesting.

Do your dogs bark when Mexicans walk by?.........LMAO (a private joke about previous idiotic comments from your subsequent poster)

Do you have an opiate problem in your "dry" state? Do you have illegal aliens outside Home Depot working for cash, avoiding taxes?

My dog barks at everyone who trespasses.

The ruling trifecta will be held responsible for the gov't shutdown .

You do know that he has, like, 20 "Number One" priorities, right?

I would generally agree with you, however I feel it wouldn't matter who was ruling the Democrats and Media will always spin it as Republicans fault.

Trump plays the media better than most politicians I think this may change things a little on how things are perceived.

I hope we don't have to find out who is right

It's not a neither or proposition. Building the wall will create jobs. My advice to Trump, solely unsolicited, is that he should be concentrating on the economy to get it booming. A booming economy would elevate him and this country. The wall, tax reform, repeal and replace can all come later. A booming economy would get independents on his side, making it easier with his base plus the non-affiliated to get things accomplished later.

A stagnate or worst type of economy will surely give the house to the Democrats next year dooming any wall, tax reform, repeal and replace. Sure the Democrats will crow about Trump not following through with the wall, tax reform and the rest. But let them crow for a year or two while about that, without the house all those promises can come later and easier.

The path to a positive job approval and the rest of your agenda rests squarely on the economy. Get it booming and most Americans will climb aboard that Trump train, let it stagnate, that train will become empty in a hurry. As Bill Clinton campaign stated, "It's the economy, Stupid!"

I do like how everyone seems to make fun of Trump's skin color yet when people talked about Obama's skin color it was racist

The con artist in chief can say anything and his guppies will still defend it.

Why would shutting down the government backfire on Dems? Reoublicans control everything.
Would you critize a Dem for refusing to support what you have already labelled a "bad idea".

You didn't answer the question: which is more impirtant, jobs or a wall?

If the government shuts down - all branches of it are controlled by the Republicans. They are driving the car and if it runs off the road into a swamp - they are responsible - not the passengers in the back seats.

Liberals should love the wall it sounds like something far would do just to have people work.

You Trump lovers tickle me. Obama's skin color was natural. Trumps skin color is some sprayed on, baked on, orange crap that looks like it belongs on an Umpa Lumpa.
Not to mention his ridiculous hair style.

A government shutdown would be a good thing. If it went on long enough, maybe the people would finally understand we don't really need it to begin with.

I think we can rid of the bad hombres without making the wall a priority. Cutting taxes should be and should have been his numero uno priority.

Im not sure who you are talking to, or do you just assume that anyone who doesnt agree with you must be a "trump lover"
