how to avoid the law..hmmmmmmmm

Telling folks that they can refuse warrantless searches - the horror!

The new video does warn illegal immigrants against driving if they don’t have a license, urges them not to carry false papers...
Why would honest and law abiding illegal immigrants drive without a license or carry false papers? The doesn't make any sense. I've always been told by liberals that illegal immigrants are as pure as driven snow.

So they are teaching them their Constitutional rights but also telling them not to drive without a license and not to carry fake papers.

Can't say I have a problem with any of that.

On the surface, I should be for educating one on their Constitutional rights - partial or otherwise. Resisting our government is a necessary part of the equation our fore-fathers knew all too well.

But in the larger sense I am against illegal activity, nor am I for the furtherance of illegal activity, especially that done by foreign nationals.

So I'm at a personal quandary, with this.

They don't have constitutional rights... if they were citizens...they do.

I was under the impression that people, inside the US, had constitutional rights not only citizens. Where did you get the idea that it was otherwise?

Really? Which liberals told you that?

The Constitution applies to everyone in the United States other than diplomats.

you missed some

But it does offer strategies for encounters. If illegal immigrant parents have children that are U.S. citizens, they are encouraged to mention them in the hope that it would sway agents to leave the family alone.
If they have children that are in the country illegally, they are advised not to mention them. Otherwise, the video says, the children could become targets for deportation themselves.
“Don’t carry papers from another country with you, such as a foreign passport. Such papers could be used against you in the deportation process,” the video says.
ICE officers usually carry administrative warrants authorizing arrest for deportation purposes, but they are not criminal warrants signed by a judge, and the video says they do not carry the same force of law — so illegal immigrants do not have to let officers in, or even open the door for them.
Some immigrant-rights advocates are going even further to try to protect illegal immigrants.
Colleges are encouraging illegal immigrant students who have taken advantage of President Obama’s 2012 deportation amnesty for Dreamers, known as the DACA program, to take school-sponsored trips outside the U.S. Because of the way the law works, that gives the DACA recipients a chance to apply for advance parole, a program that can put them on a pathway to citizenship.

To me a Constitution is a contract between the government and it's citizens...those that are not a citizen are not a part of the contract. We have laws to handle situations like that, but that is the fundamental concept of a constitution.

an illegal person has a right too due process, a right to life and liberty , but people who are not Citizens cannot exercise rights Americans do.

Where rights are restricted to certain groups, such as adult American citizens, the Constitution is specific about it. Where it is not specific the right is held to apply to all people on US soil. Again, except diplomats because they are not subject to US laws.

Illegal aliens should not be entitled to any constitutional rights

Just a bus ride back to the border is all they deserve

The whole concept of very selective immigration law enforcement is ridiculous - it seems that the more there are then the less chance that anything will be done about them. The worst now being DAPA - pop out an anchor baby and you gain special status.

Maybe you think they shouldn't. But they are.

Absolutely

illegal aliens with anchor baby's collecting welfare should get priority deportation status.

Send them back right after the criminals.

will you please tell me a right illegals have which i have not mentioned?

Yes I concede that the wackos in black robes and some ill-advised laws have made the illegal alien problem worse

that is because the law has been twisted since the founders and we have people who advocate for open borders and don't want immigration laws.

so they make it extremely difficult to deport people in some cases

Not under Trump if they are "good hombres". Trump is doing just what Obama did - deporting only those deemed worst with little regard for the letter of the law. That sends the message that if you obey (most?) other laws then you are semi-legal even if you make up a new ID (or two).

IMHO, one side wants cheap labor and the other side wants more voting for handouts. Neither wants to admit their motives.

oh i agree, there on many on the right who want business to have cheap labor, while the left wants more illegals to be voters under the welfare umbrella and them voting for democrats who pledge to keep dispensing that welfare.

Collecting welfare disqualifies them as good hombres
