Keep donors secret but not twitter account?

Federal 'Witch Hunt' Against Trump Twitter Critic Sparks Investigation | The Huffington Post
I find it interesting that the Cons want to keep campaign donors secret and use the 1st Amendment as the reason and now we find out that spmepne in the government is trying to find out who is behind an anti-Trump twitter account. I would think that the 1st Amendment would allow Twitter to keep secret who is behind an account as long as they are not breaking the law. Apparently Twitter is going too court and there is an investigation within the government to determine if what was requested was done for a legal reason. Our goverrnment is beginning to get scary and facist.

So trump and cons are no different than liberals and obama good for you to admit that. If trump or cons disapproved of the CIA methods they could change it. Do you people ever blame the one who is responsible for this, Trump. Oh no, it is always Obama. O bama isn't the president right now, it is Trump and he is the one acting like a dictator. And the thing you do with it is okay because someone else did it. well, Obama never asked to have someone investigated because they said something bad about him. Obama went after those who were going to do something bad to this country. Of course you with your con blinkers on can't see the difference.

With respect, at this point, we have no evidence that Trump will use the agencies and instruments of government to attack private citizens.

We do know that Obama and his thugs did so.

If the twitter account belongs to an American, then it's not OK, and everyone knows it.

Then again, the insane privacy laws we allow, I thought allowed Twitter to share that info regardless.

Because they are investigating illegal activity and/or foreign threats.
