I was wondering how This administration was going to sell the disasteropus first 100

Re: I was wondering how This administration was going to sell the disasteropus first

Yup I would be joining probably 95% of the population as far as hating this countries enemies. The biggest threat to this country right now is a crazy guy next to the little red button that once pushed ends mankind and a party that would sell out this country for money simply because they are capitalists first and American second or even further down then that many of them. They are way more of a threat to us then any Terrorists group that exists out there.

Oh..."95%". LOL!!

Now you add hyperbole to your hypocrisy.

Re: I was wondering how This administration was going to sell the disasteropus first

Prevented Hillary Clinton from being elected president.
Seated Neil Gorsuch on the SCOTUS.

I'm calling that a win.

Re: I was wondering how This administration was going to sell the disasteropus first

I don't think you understand how polling and sample sizes work. Or elections, for that matter.

Re: I was wondering how This administration was going to sell the disasteropus first

I don't know if he can or can't, and that's not what I said.

What part of "I guess we'll have to wait and see." don't you understand?
(Rather than ascribing a position to me that I had not expressed - you know, that's called a strawman)

Fair enough.

Re: I was wondering how This administration was going to sell the disasteropus first

I want them to be truth,
Want and are, totally different spheres of reality.

So we declare war with a country , a evil sick country and you would be part of the 5% who loves them. Close to 100% of the population would hate them , if they were evil cruel sick threat to this country .

Re: I was wondering how This administration was going to sell the disasteropus first

Something like this:

"We did so much in the first 100 days, we accomplished a tremendous amount with a tremendous team, you know nobody has had a more capable team, we've had some roadblocks sure, politics is dirty, I know, lemme tell you, I had half these people asking me for favors when I was in the private sector, so I know how this works, but we'll get there, they'll come around. A nation isn't like a business, I mean it's like a business but it's not, and everything matters more, and nobody understands that better than me, believe me, but we've got incredible things lines up, whether it's infrastructure, or the nuclear, or Korea, or North Korea, or Flint, with those pipes, I tell you, we're gonna fix those pipes people, it's gotta get done, it's gotta happen, it's just gotta happen. But let me tell you, these first 100 days have been great and we've gotten so much done, probably the most productive first 100 days of any President, although you'd never think that listening to the failing Wall Street Journal, have you seen what these guys write? Fake news, that's why their sales are so bad, I know companies, and that company is a bad one, let me tell you, if I'm such a failure then why are my rating so high? Highest ratings since 9/11, it's incredible, just incredible the way people respond to our message. And we will continue that message for the next 100 days, or thousand days, however many days there are, and we will make america great again."

Re: I was wondering how This administration was going to sell the disasteropus first

He didn't nuke anyone. I call that a successful first 100 days for the Donald. Maybe we can raise the bar a little for the 2nd hundred and not have him spark a trade war. Oh forget that. He's probably about to start one with Canada of all countries.

Dunno. Seems pretty clear. If the voting were re-run today, Hillary would not only lose again, but also wouldn't win the popular vote.

Or do you have a different interpretation? If so, please post it. I may even read it.

According to a poll of 1,000 people, not 130 million.

According to a poll of 1,000 people, not 130 million.

Aren't polls always less than the entire electorate?

Aren't poll always (or at least ideally) a representative sampling of the entire electorate?

Re: I was wondering how This administration was going to sell the disasteropus first

Because he's an outside shaking things up.

The meaning of an Outsider somehow has been changed...Because How is an Ultra Rich NeW Yorker from an Ultra Rich family with Not so Stellar Business Record who has surrounded himself the Goldman Sack Executive and other Billionaires and same old Politicians, following the Standard GOP Playbook can be considered an Outsider is beyond me....

Granted.... for a 'Business man" he has extremely low and poor command vocabulary or any personal skills what so ever.....

He has an extremely Shallow Moral or ethics

He is very creepy and Peculiar in his manners

He has a sub par understanding of nearly everything

Extremely thin Skinned and dangerously neurotic and irrational.

if these traits are considered as an "Outsider" then granted HE is one, so this the homeless guy in the next street over peeing in the trash can, but equally I wound't want that guy to be the President either.

Re: I was wondering how This administration was going to sell the disasteropus first

Well I found out, The first 100 days that Small Hands Promise amazing things and supported this standard will be proof positive of his accomplishments. So where are we know that his accomplishments are in, or better said not in. Well under his disaster he is now saying that the 100 day standard is rediculous and he shouldn't be judged by it.

I think President Obama had it correct when he stated that he should not be judged by his first hundred days: "The first hundred days is going to be important, but it’s probably going to be the first thousand days that makes the difference."

That is also the way I see it. So far Trump has had a ho hum time of it. He has done nothing to get me upset or to offer praise. I don't think he even knows how Washington works yet, although I do think he is learning. But he has a long way to go. How has Trump done? That depends on whom one talks to or polls.

82% of Republicans think Trump has done great, but only 7% of Democrats think that. That is a very partisan break down. How Trump has done for his first 100 days all depends on which side of the divide your on. I don't think that is going to change.

Funny its clear you didn't know what my comment meant in the first place. Nor do I really care actually.

He will destroy it all if he could, every cabinet dept.. head was selected because they have said in the past and wanted to destroy the Dept. they now lead.

His support is down to 35% and falling, no one has ever had it worse in their first 100Days. Your comment is goofy.

No they didn't, 82% of the hate party said they approved of his job, big big difference They can think he did great to poor and still approve of the job he did. He is at the lowest level of any president in history at this time of his presidency. Thats a real number.

That's very true and regardless of who won last November, the numbers would be the same. This is what happens when both major parties run two candidates in which over 60% of all Americans view them negatively.

Breaking down the job approval numbers on Trump 15% of Democrats approve of his job 81% disapprove. Republicans 79% approve, 15% disapprove. Obama on the same day have the approval of 91% of Democrats and 26% of Republicans. As you see it is still very partisan on both sides of the divide. With polarization and partisanship, it is more about the R and the D next to a presidents name than what a president actually does when it comes to those who identify with the two major parties. Not about the job done, but the letter next to his name.

Knowing this, I have a habit of throwing those out. One doesn't get a true idea of where the nation stands with any one president looking at approval or favorable numbers from those whose only concern is the letter next to a presidents name. Those polarized and partisan types who worship only the R or the D. Now those number can show internal discord, the extent of it. So it is useful to keep them in mind.

We know from the polls during the primaries and general election that approximately 20% of all Republicans were never Trumpers, anti-Trump. That number hasn't changed much. But in the end, most of that 20% voted for Trump, they were much more ant-Clinton than Trump. 88% of Republicans did vote for Trump compared to 93% who voted for Romney. 7% of Republicans voted for Clinton while 5% voted third party.
