No. I dislike hate. Here's a challenge for you and the rest of teh TDS sufferers here: Go one week without launching into another screed about Pres. Trump. I'll bet that not one of you would take me up on it. Sometimes it seems like hate is all that is keeping some people going.

Ohh Im offering more than "I HATE TRUMP!" Im pointing out the pure hypocrisy of this executive order. Why only go after H1-B program and not also the H-2B... Hmm... Oh yea, its cuz he's okay with hiring one category of guest workers, he and his family do it all the time. They like that cheap labor. "Do as I say, not as I do.".

And about the "Buy American" part of this EO. If he was really serious and wanted something with real teeth he would support the Buy American Legislation...

he can work with congress to reduce taxes and regulations which is good, but he cant make companies hire those he wishes

as you said many people coming out of college spent to much time protesting and not enough getting the correct education.

If students spent more time protesting and not enough getting the correct education, then they shouldn't be much of a threat to people who did get the correct education ... correct?

there are companies that lay off American workers and bring in H1b's. screw em, they can start a program like IBM was smart enough to do. Six years for high school? Why two extra years is catching on | PBS NewsHour

Many Indians have been abused. Their past abuse of putting in 110 hours per week and being pressured to bill 160 hours per week teaches them to do slipshod work. It CAN be untaught, but too often it is tolerated.

An engineering degree from MIT doesn't make you as good as an experienced coder. I've sat across from people with PhDs who can only think inside their own little box. I'll take experience over education any day. Many H1Bs have great experience and are excellent workers.


A lot of these H1Bs are being exploited by outsourcing companies like Cognizant and IBM. The H1Bs get peanuts while the outsourcing companies charge the client a huge markup.
