Nationwide Socialist Tour

Leftists TP, the DNC top socialist and Comrade BS, the has-been senator from Vermont, kicked off their nationwide socialist tour in Maine. Maine? Okay, anyway, as they go on tour Mrs. Comrade BS is back at the dachas keeping them warm and I suppose the muslim terrorist sympathizer with ties to CAIR, Keith Ellison is holding down the alliance.

What a pair these two. ROTFL I suppose they haven't heard their left-wing socialist ideology has been rejected by the American people. 1200+ seats over the last few years rejected, that is. Check out the article, it's the same old leftist hoopla, nothing new, same old thing leftists have been harping on since they started losing those 1200+ seats. Keep up the good work boys. lol

Tom Perez and Bernie Sanders Kick Off Nationwide Progressive Tour in Maine - Breitbart

We can probably use a good strong dose of socialism right now.

Critics never compare the word socialist to the Nordic hybrid capitalist / socialist countries. I wonder why that is? I know the response already, because we can't be like them for X reason and it won't work because X reason and it can only be like Cuba or some failed socialist hell from history.

So we can't rebalance the scales at all? The only "fair" thing to do is for the top 1% to enrich themselves and control everyone else? Surely there must be some kind of middleground between these two extremes.

One I have never seen advocated by the left: Make it easier for people to go into business for themselves. If I'm in the top 10%, I HOPE my boss is in the top 0.1% and he tells me how he did it.

I support small business and I'd prefer many small businesses over that of large corporations. However the reality is that large corporations dominate and the majority of the jobs in today's world are low paying service jobs at corporations. Helping people start small businesses is great but is only a very small niche and doesn't really address the largest problems right now.

If rebalancing means taking property from someone who earned it to give to someone who didnt, then no, that would not be fair. Freedom is more important than social equality. The disagreement we have is that you think the 1% control everyone else, when in fact those interactions are voluntary. The only 'rebalancing' we need is taking power from the govt and putting it back in the peoples hands, rich or poor.

If you believe capitalism in the U.S. is 100% self righteous and honest then you'll never understand any other perspective. When people who are passing laws talk about freedom, do you know what they mean? What they mean is getting rid of laws that tie the hands of the wealthy and further increase their ability to exploit the populace. If you think they do it for you or because they love freedom, that's a joke.

and if you attack someone else, that doesn't make you a lib.

The world must be divided into "non libs", who agree with what you say, and "libs" who think your posts demonstrate a lack of critical thinking skills.

Seems like a sort of black and white, one dimensional world to me.

But, if disagreeing with your point of view makes me a lib, I guess that must be what I am.

If anyone is one dimensional it is you

I don't mind people disagreeing with me

but it seems you can't stand anyone disagreeing with you so you attack the person rather than the thought

The educational system has indeed failed. If it hadn't, we'd never have elected a fraud and conman to the office of president. Sad.

Your superior education must have failed you too because you voted for another fraud to replace the con man you voted for to hold the office for the past 8 years.

You're making an assumption: I don't like Trump (who is not a conservative at all), and therefore, I must be a Democrat, and therefore a liberal, and therefore I must have voted for Obama.

No, I voted for Romney. Had he won, he would still be president and we wouldn't have had the charade of an election that we had last time around.

I don't mind people disagreeing with me, either.

What I do mind is the practice of placing everyone into two categories: Republican partisans, and liberals. If you're not one, you must be the other, according to the former.

I should be used to it by now, but the one dimensional left to right political philosophies are so absurd and simplistic that they do get a gut reaction from me.

Did you ever take the political compass test? That will at least give you a place in the two dimensional continuums, left to right and libertarian to authoritarian.

I was assuming, and I think you are right about Romney.

Like the man said, if it walks like a lib, and talks like a lib...

I dont think any of that.

I'm not sure being the most popular politician in the country constitutes being a "has been".

I would advocate for all leftists/socialists promoting their way of life to begin IMMEDIATELY coming together, to pool their resources and start a socialist communal utopia. High paying low skilled jobs, government services on demand, no excessive wealth, free education throughout college even into grad school, free school lunches, free phones, free internet, free care, free transportation...free for all.

Ready...GO!

There already is. There are all kinds of variations of 'socialism' but Gov't spending is where the rubber hits the road. And the USA has gone down the Big Government road for a long time.
And there is no end in sight. The future is all 'big spending' and lots of red ink. Republicans talk a big game but they never do anything about it. We already have Govt funded health care for almost 40% of the populace. Once we all go all in on single payer( which is inevitable ) ,the red ink numbers get frightening.
