Police at the University of Texas at Dallas say they're searching for the person who dumped several copies of the Quran in campus toilets.They call the incident "shocking" and "unusual."
A student recently discovered the books inside a bathroom at the university's Student Union building. After snapping some pictures to document the apparent anti-Muslim act, he immediately reported it to campus security, which got police involved.

One can use flag toilet paper but not clog many public toilets with it, at least on purpose.

And while I realize this may not be a "popular" opinion, it breaks my heart that any faith's holy book would be treated in this shameful, despicable way.

The good news is that this is a one-off and that the police are looking for those seen on video entering the bathroom. I hope the perpetrators are caught, but I don't know what crime was committed other than possibly trying to jam up the toilet.

The only thing they should be looking for is if the books were stolen, if not people can do what they wish with their property.

Tell me who "they" are who have **** on the flag.

Flags, bibles, korans, etc. Symbols, made of paper and linen. Burning or destroying a symbol is symbolic. Who the hell cares? If an American flag is printed in a newspaper and you throw away the newspaper, are you destroying the flag? No, you are destroying paper that has a flag on it.

Stop getting all worked up.

Wouldn't be a crime but I'm sure it violates certain policies agreed to by the students. I agree with you that this is a shameful act and disrespectful.
