This bomb is designed to destroy things 'underground'. From what I read//hear, the PRNK has many facilities underground. Is there a message in the use of MOAB? Big celebrations coming in PRNK in a few days.

The MOAB drop on Afghanistan was a combination of a Trumpian PR stunt and the Pentagon taking advantage of a doddering old fart who doesn't do background reading, doesn't pay attention to briefings and thinks blowback is reciprocal oral sex at a rest stop in Del Ray.

The U.S. has a handful of 30,000 lb. bombs which were designed to destroy deeply buried targets. I think North Korea's leader is more concerned about those bombs than the 21,000 lb. blast-effect bomb which was used in Afghanistan. The 21,000 lb. bomb depends on the blast wave in creates in the air to destroy things, whether in the open or in tunnels or caves. It would have very little effect on targets which were completely underground.

Well since you like it so much you can volunteer 2% of your earnings for the rest of your life to replace it deal?

Trumps PR stunts are costing millions as well as his vacations but hey it's Trump so that makes it ok right?

As much as I enjoy trashing Trump, I highly doubt the decision to use the MOAB was made at the White House level.

You must have been/or be an Olympic caliber conclusion jumper, can I see your gold medal? How do you come to the rationale for your message. Mom raising the rent on the basement, is she?

In my lifetime I have never seen a president that was this much of a strategic moron as Donald. How exactly does this and the Syria missile strike fit into his emerging Trump Doctrine? He comes across as a chess player who can only see the next move--his next move--while our enemies think eight to ten steps ahead. Even Bush 2 was nowhere near this bad!

They used what might colloquially be called a conventional "bunker buster".

NK is concerned about any attack. SK could wipe them out. We could wipe them out. The only reason they aren't wiped out is that China might jump in again, covertly, again.

If it was then Trump is an even bigger dumbass than I previously thought...

Sounds to me like the right tool for the job at hand. Nothing more.

Or a president trying to create a distraction from his crumbling, sad administration.

I'm hoping you are wrong about that. He did say he wouldn't tell the public what he was going to do, broadcast to the enemy what the plans were, so maybe we just don't know how many steps ahead.
I did agree with him that you shouldn't be telling what you plan to do. I always thought that was stupid on our part. We practically gave advance notice on everything.

Publicly broadcasting his long game and having a long game are nowhere near the same things.

Nobody outside his inner circle knows for sure why he decided to attack Syria. What's his long game here? Did Putin show him his true colors, and Donald then realize, oh ****, I can't trust this guy? Or was it to play whack-an-ISIS-mole, which is not a long-term strategy? What's this guy doing?
