But if the president has thrown in with the neocons and War Party, and we are plunging back into the Mideast maelstrom, Trump should know that many of those who helped to nominate and elect him — to keep us out of unnecessary wars — may not be standing by him.

I thought Trump was looking like a warmonger soon after taking office. One reason was because of his proposed budget. He wants to increase military spending, but deeply cut everything else. That was always a big warning sign IMO.

He's shifting away from being an outsider and moving toward the establishment, of course. After all, that is where the money is. The only thing the alt nuts have worth courting are votes. And, he already swindled them of those.

In a normal world that would be true. But, since most of his voters during the Primary came from the PB side of the GOP, I have to wonder just how pissed these people will become once they realize that they have been played.

Yes he is. He is already moving away from his "America First" campaign rhetoric. It is just a matter of time before there is a major case of "buyers remorse".

So these last 18 months as folks to include I think maybe you kept saying that Trump is part of the elite that was not true, but it is now??

Trump was always part of the elite, but he did a good job conning the uneducated, low income whites into believing he was their man. I said that all along. The man has a private jet and never opens his own doors. Who could be dumb enough to think he was a working class hero?

That so many people believed he was one of them, only because he flew around the country while wearing a trucker's hat, is amazing to me. We truly live in a stupid country.
