Syria polling results and the method of killing innocent children

Your constant idiotic responses don't warrant an answer to a question that was not germane (not German, in case I confused you) to the OP. Move along. Move along.
You are on a roll with the angry hate filled insults. Not so much with the whole 'answer' thing.

What on earth are you babbling about?

Do you agree to a total ban on muslim refugees from syria in exchance for a hand-off military policy by trump or not?

Those 2 things have nothing to do with each other but NO any religious test for immigrants is not Constitutional and betrays our values. Move somewhere else if you want religious discrimination.

Why does Assad's actions get your attention while ISIS' significant history of butchering men women and children didnt measure a blip on your give a ****-o-meter?

Where did anyone say that ISIS is better than Assad? You seem to want us to compare 2 murderous regimes and pick one to like? Both must go is the only answer.

No...I am merely pointing out that none of you gave much of a rats ass about ISIS butchering children in Christian towns and Muslim towns alike for the last 4 years...and now you want to feign concern over dead children in Syria because chemical weapons are used.

Good point!

When our guys kill children with drones, we're good with that.

When our guys kill children with gas and blame it on Assad before any investigation at all, we're good with that too.

New poll numbers show that 57% of Americans approve of the Syrian air strike. However, only 18% approve of putting troops on the ground. Additionally, and in true partisan fashion, an overwhelming number of Republicans approve of Trumps actions, while the same group of Republicans overwhelmingly rejected (67%) Obama's proposal of doing the same thing back in 2013.

First it is not the same. This is the second time these weapons were used. Also this time it is after the deal Obama negotiated. Completely different set of circumstances.

Now, here is a topic for discussion: why does the killing of innocent children by chemical means seem more brutal than killing innocent children by air strikes and barrel bombs? Isn't the end result the same?

A bomb intended for a military target can hit that target without much collateral damage a block away. Plus a bomb does not injure and kill rescue workers who fall prey to the chemical while attempting to help the injured. There are many more difference.

Back in 2013, when Assad was killing innocent children by chemical warfare and bombs, Trump was emphatic that the US stay the hell out of Syria. How and why is it any different today?

Unfortunately the US was already involved when Obama negotiated the deal with Russia and drew the line in the sand. We will have to wait and see if Trumps response will be success or a failure as the case with Obama's response. Every situation is different and must be handled that way.

I don't see what you mean. Why would calling out Assad as a murderer who needs to go mean we didn't give a "rats ass" about ISIS and their atrocities? You seem to be spouting last weeks Trumpisms. This week he is agreeing with Obama and even Tillerson is telling Putin that Assad is toast. You need to pay close attention if you want to support Trump...he changes opinions daily and you need to also.

The US has tried to use the attack to try to drive a wedge between Moscow and Damascus, saying that Russia must choose between Syria -- and being on the wrong side of history -- or turn toward the international community in getting rid of Assad. Tillerson offered his Russian counterparts a bridge, tempering the open tensions by urging that Washington and Moscow find ways to cooperate.
Tillerson said that he and Lavrov discussed Assad at length and that he made clear that the Trump administration has come around to the view that the Syrian President cannot stay in power.

This isnt about Trump. Its not about Obama. ISIS has been slaughtering people for 4 years. Where have you been?

This thread ISN'T about ISIS. Do you not read the OP's before deciding to respond to them?

Now, if you re so interested in comparing Assad to Isis, then take some time and start your own thread instead of constantly trying to hijack threads of others.

He typically regurgitates whatever unrelated nonsense he comes across.

Following the successes against ISIS that the Iraqi army has been having with our help for one. The liberation of Mosul and defeat of ISIS in Iraq is at hand and it is due to Obama's policies which have succeeded without any major casualties for our soldiers. Thanks Obama.

With today's technology we actually could conduct a war entirely without troops on the ground. Maybe some in ships and aircraft. Other than that, not one boot needs be on the ground.

We could wage a war that way

We just could not win it that way

Oh bull****, you cons were even telling us all how electing Clinton would get us into WWIII because Clinton wanted action in Syria. Now all of a sudden, bombing Syria is good because Trump did it. Trump supporters can go blow it out their assess because they are nothing but a bunch of ****ing hypocrites, the lot of them.

The overwhelming majority of Trump supporters don't support bombing in Syria.
