People are questioning Susan Rice and her actions while in office. I believe its an attempt to deflect from the Trump/Russian investigation, but eventually the GOP will have their chance at Rice. If you would have been Rice and you knew that the Russians were involved in hacking the DNC to help trump get elected, then you see that Americans are involved in phone contacts with the Russians during the eelction and continue after the election. At the same time you have the GOP candidate asking the Russians to continue hacking the DNC and Hillary. Would you not be interested in unmasking which Americans are talking to the Russians to see if they are colluding with the Russians in efffecting our election? I know I would, but not you?

Well if that happened, she'd have an excuse, but what it more looks like is that Rice committed a crime by unmasking "incidentally collected" individuals, and disseminated it through the government hopining for a leak, meanwhile Obama sign's an executive order allowing this illegally unmasked information to disseminate among the so called "intelligence community".


What you really need to see from this, is how many eyes were on the trump campaign and out of it comes zero evidence of collusion. there is evidence of the previous aministration using the intelligence community as a political tool against the opposition party. that's what you should be concerned with.

If that was all true, sure. But since it's not, the question is moot.

Would I commit a felony? No, I wouldn't. I would have took my hunch to the proper authorities; the folks who actually have the authority to conduct an investigation.

But, we know Rice didn't act on her own initiative. She was following orders.

Well, I think it's a difficult question to answer. So any fantasies would have to fall into the same game.

For example, I would have to take a joke spoken during a speech, and turn it into a belief that it was proof of a Russian connection. I mean, I can't see myself concluding a joke about having Russians try to find 30,000 erased emails as actually an invitation the Russians were waiting to get.

It kind of goes downhill from there.

In the end, I'm a law abiding citizen, so I don't think if the show were on the other foot, I would make the same moves as Rice.

To date there is NO EVIDENCE of collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia. Unless and until I had solid evidence of such collusion I would not have released anything. Frankly, I would have been loathe to even conduct the investigation without some kind of evidence of collusion.

At this point we have a series of outrageous calls for investigating a Trump/Russia conspiracy designed to "fix" the election. Meanwhile we have ample evidence of the DNC rigging the primary for Hillary. If you want to play conspiracy games how about this: Hillary's campaign engaged Russian and British associates to dig up dirt on Trump. Those associates did what was asked and found pretty much nothing. As a protection, should their actions be discovered, these hired guns also hacked Hillary's stuff. When Hillary's people pissed them off the hired guns started releasing her stuff in retaliation.

There is just as much evidence for my conspiracy theory as there is for the one being promoted by the Democrats.

Furthermore, we have an ever growing trove of evidence suggesting that officials within the Obama administration surveilled the Trump campaign and staff.

I think your little fictional story is just some type of deflection of what actually happened. The prudent course of action would be notify the FBI if you think something
is wrong. You don't break the law and possibility commit multiple felony's. You don't spy on a incoming administration.

Interesting that for over 10 months and what looks like now the entire Obama Justice Department investigating this there is still no proof offered that Russia even hacked the DNC servers, let alone colluded with the trump campaign to sway the election. Meanwhile...in just under a WEEK, there is evidence of illegal behavior by Obama's NSA and a former defense secretary, contradictory statements between Obama's former NSA and James Clapper, undeniably felonious criminal activity committed by people leaking information to the media, there is apparently no evidence of a crime or reason for an investigation by the FBI and NSA and scertainly not enough evidence that justified a FISA warrant, yet Rice for some reason (not political, she claims) she directed databases and unmasking of materials specifically targeting the major opposition presidential campaign. There is apparently evidence that she directed the unmasking and dabase creation which completely contradicts her testimony that she didnt know anything about it.

Of course it is a deflection. This has been Trumps MO for the last two months now.
 
Susan Rice's actions are the cause for the rumors, innuendo, anonymous leaks, et al that brought on the Trump investigation, they're not a distraction from it.

and let's not forget that Gen. Flynn is a registered Democrat and was a member of Obama's WH Admin...

So the Rice story is supposed deflecting from the no proof story that Russia conspired with Trump to hack the election which in turn is just deflection from how poorly and ineffective Hillary ran her campaign against someone just about anyone else but her could of defeated.
