Trump and Co. do business globally. That includes with Russian Interests.
Trump and Co. once they election, looked to leverage business relationships to help lay the groundwork for future diplomatic channels.
Trump and Co. are not politicians, they are business people first. Different worlds that often collude and collide but none the less, are different.

Russia is a major nation state
Russia meddles on the fringes of any election in any country that could affect them.
Russia meddles by making noise in their media (they don't have "free press" like we do) to their own ends
Russia might very well have hacked the DNC. Bad IT practices tend to lead to bad results. Just ask Sony.

Russia isn't using Trump as a Pawn, that's an absurd notion.
Trump isn't in the pocket of Russian Business Interests, again, absurd.

The media, and the left, in their derangement over losing the election have created a groupthink circle jerk that astounds the mind in how many people are buying into it.
The Democrats desperately needed a fall guy for Hillary's loss, that they got so many people saying "RUSSIA" is the real tragedy here.

If anything, it appears you could say that if Pooty-poot was looking to discourage everyone's faith in our Democracy, he found a way to get the Democrat Party and the DNC to do the dirty work.

The House Intelligence Committee investigation chaired by Nunes has stalled in controversy. At this point in time, I have no inclination to agree with your assessment. I plan on waiting for additional news reports and the results of the more recent investigation begun last week by the Senate Intelligence Committee.

Some of what she posted I'll grant as fact. Others are assertions. Apparently she include the FBI and other intelligence agencies along with the Senate in the "left/media circle jerk". Must be a meme on Breitbart or something.:inandout:

Do you really think anyone will buy this codswallop?

• Trump has all sorts of business deals with Russians, many close to Putin -- though of course, we don't know all the relevant details, because Trump refuses to release his tax returns
• Trump has been so favorable to Russia, that even other Republicans are worried about it
• Russia has a long history of sabotaging democratic elections
• Russia was unquestionably behind the DNC and Clinton hacks
• The Trump Campaign definitely had some very odd communications with the hackers, e.g. Stone communicated with Guccifer 2.0
• Even if there was no actual collusion, the Trump administration has been clumsily attempting to cover up something, and manipulate the process

The reality is that the Trump administration is causing its own problems in these matters. As such, they fully deserve the mess they've made of themselves.

We know that Russia deliberately interfered in US elections. Everyone accepts this, even Trump.

It looks very likely that they were putting the thumb on the scales for Trump. Heck, they apparently even hacked Rubio.

We don't know if Trump "cheated."

We know that the Trump administration is acting like it is guilty. This does not mean or prove that they are guilty, but it demonstrates that they believe they have something to hide.

Even if they come up in the clear -- which, again, is very possible -- the investigations have shed a small light on the incompetence, cronyism and obscuritanism of the administration.

And did you somehow forget that Trump was pushing the "Birther" lies for years? Egads
