Before the election, Trump claimed that requesting immunity was bad and an admission of guilt. Now, requesting immunity is perfectly fine to avoid being prosecuted in a "so called" witch hunt.Talk about flip-flopping all over the ideological spectrum.
With as good as Trump can pivot on basically any issue, he would make an excellent Ballerina............:)

nah- he is obese and no fun to look act. And the idea of him grabbing the female dancers between the legs to lift them up.... we'll ... 'nuff said.

But what did Trump say? "...when you are famous they will let you do anything."

And why didn't Trump's opposition point out the weaknesses in the simplification? I might not like Trump, but I detest whining incompetents that cannot point out a falsehood.

History indicates he might be wrong.

Trump's flip flopping is fast becoming legendary.

Are you sure Trump said that? I could be wrong, I guess, but I don't remember him saying that. On the other hand, I've seen Flynn quoted recently as saying that.

Could it be that YOU have it all wrong? That Trump hasn't shifted at all? Yeah...I think that's quite likely.

And you would be wrong once again. Footage of Trumps comments are all over the news.
Now, care to discuss his electoral college flipflop? Or would you like to ACTUALLY do a wee bit of research before commenting further on a topic that you actually seem to know very little about.

Thank you. Here is the relevant quote from that article. (the rest of the article, if it were printed on paper, would be suitable for lining the bottom of a bird cage and shall be ignored)

"If you're not guilty of a crime, what do you need immunity for?"

Now here is what YOU said in your OP:

Trump claimed that requesting immunity was bad and an admission of guilt.

So, it's necessary to examine these two statements to see if they even relate to each other.

1. Trump didn't make a claim. He asked a question.

2. Context matters. He was asking a question in reference to Hillary's email scandal. That means his question is in reference to THAT issue...not to every situation in which one asks for immunity.

3. In the quote, Trump said nothing at all about "requesting immunity was bad" or that doing so was "an admission of guilt".

What we have here isn't a 180 degree shift. It is a question asked in one situation...in reference to a specific issue...and a statement made in another situation...in reference to a different specific issue...and your pathetic attempt to spin and conflate them.

@Forum Members: Nothing to see here folks. Just another liberal/Trump hater spinning **** around...wanting to pretend it's chocolate.

You are too far gone my friend if you can justify Trumps obvious flip flop. ...)
I bet you don't believe in the Electoral College flipflop either.....lol
Your chosen hero is a pathelogical liar and not the savior that you need so badly to worship. At some point, you will have to accept it.

It is certainly not being hidden. As a matter of fact, it is so up front that it must be purpose, one might want to believe.

He simply shifts with the tide. He is not an ideologue with rigid values, or common values for that matter.

I have the feeling that it is more than meets the eye. While you are probably right in your estimate of his values, I think that he might be using a mode of negotiation unusual in politics as we have seen in OECD countries in the past decades. Nor do you usually encounter it in large publicly held corporations, where more non-confrontational methods are also used. But those not the kind of environments Trump learned the art of the deal. And to tell you the truth. I really do not know how successful it might turn out to be. We have no real experience with it other than with autocrats like Putin. But that is not transferable to the circumstances of the US, where the checks and balances are less tipped to the leader's advantage.

He thrives on creating and being surrounded by chaos. This might work in certain business dealings, but could be catastrophic as it relates to governing.
