More working class people are dying from despair -- drug abuse, suicide, and alcohol -- than died during the height of the AIDS epidemic. The people at the Huffington Post have nothing but hatred and disdain for them.

You want more Trump? This is how you get more Trump. And you richly deserve it.

I have heard nothing but disdain for people who don't take personal responsibility and make a better life for themselves. Now it's your people feeling it and you want to switch sides and suddenly have compassion? Go figure.

If Trump does in fact really support working class people - well I'll believe it when I see it.

But to get less Trump, the path is to make them understand that it is not society's fault that they don't move to where the job is.

That's interesting. I've read plenty of posts on here from Trump supporters who don't care that 26 million Americans would lose their insurance if the repealed the ACA. I've seen many Trump supporters post on here that they are only interested in their own family's healthcare issues, and not anyone else's - including the poster who "liked" your post. I've seen plenty of Trump supporters posts on here that they really don't care if old people suffered under the ACA repeal as they are not supposed to be responsible for paying for other people's well being. So the reason so many Trump supporters feel that way is because of posters on the Huffington Post site?

It's hard to muster much sympathy for the snowflakes who have raucously celebrated the "End of PC-Culture" and then proceed to lament any negative characterization of the typical Trump-voter.

In other words... fuck the Deplorables.
I don't give a shit about them, and I find the OP's whining about this amusing.

I like how Trump has clearly shown the hypocrisy of the Partisan. All the arguments are switching side.

Want UHC? Let's do it. Want it to cover mental health and rehab? Let's do it. Let's all pay some taxes and get things set up so that all these Americans can get the help they need. It's funny because it happens to somebody else right? But now that the chickens are home to roost, now it's a problem.

This has been a problem for far longer than Trump, y'all are just trying to pick up on this as deflection from Trump's problems. But we can solve it. We can make sure that mental health and rehab is covered and make these services available to all Americans so that we as a nation can get better, we as a nation can heal, we as a People can live healthier lives with increased liberty.

Or are we just bitching about the problem and not actually looking to do anything about it? Just more Partisan Games?

What a bitter attitude toward people who failed to vote for obama and hillary

But what I hear from ordinary Americans is they government to defend the borders and enforce the laws rather than trying to put coal miners on the welfatre line

They want fair trade practices that lets average American have jobs allowing a decent living

It is liberal culture that has promoted drugs for the psat 40 years

Rumor has it that those people will likely lose their insurance as OC collapses anyhow.

Show me exactly how liberal culture promotes drugs?

I didn't vote for Hillary, so am I bitter towards myself? All I know is that the OP is feeling sorry for themselves because they are being told what they have been telling people, suck it up and if you don't succeed it's your own dang fault.

Average Americans can have jobs that allow a decent living, there are plenty of jobs out there - maybe you won't get that suburban house with a huge SUV in the driveway but "average" Americans don't need that, or do they?

Well ****, if RUMOR says it, then by all means, let's tear that bitch down! I mean, rumor says OC was going to collapse and all these folk would lose their coverage anyway. And if RUMOR says it, then we all know it's a guarantee! When the **** have rumors ever been wrong?

I use to hear the word "personal responsibility" a lot before the ACA, when the Government had to pickup the cost of Healthcare for people without Insurance or refused to get it.

Now we want to go back to that?

A blog written by someone complaining about an anonymous poster commenting btl on a huffpost article? Is that the smell of desperation I hear?

And how dare you, as a libertarian, pretend to give a damn about the working class. You and your ilk support a 'survival of the fittest' system where the poor are left to die.

Even for you this is pretty low down... :doh

You take a opinion hit piece that cherry picks what appears to be uncited tweets to claim some disdain by a online news source....

How about showing where Huffington Post ACTUALLY showed disdain for the working class.

But as others point out, the right wing has shown disdain for the working poor repeatedly, that now the working class is feeling the exact same economic pressures as trickle down seems to have spawned sucked under- YOU want to blame a online news source and use a partisan hack to do so....

How typical and how pathetic.... enjoy what comes around... :peace

No, it's just that Here Comes the Deflection Wagon. It's the mantra of the Trumpeteers. Say something stupid, get shown that what you said was stupid, deflect.

This thread is Partisan Hypocrisy on display in its finest.

How about obama?

In any case you have a hate for trump that never quits and you're taking it out on trump voters as are many libs.

In this case I didn't hear trump "feeling sorry" for trump voters on drugs but rather just caring about everyone who has been hooked on drugs

Which includes democrats and independents

Libs are the ones who made it political because of your Trump Disorder Syndrome.

Did you ever vote for him?

Who was it who tried to strip substance abuse treatment from people's benefit packages a mere six days ago? (Hint: Trump and co.)

Substance abuse should be an option in private healthcare insurance

presumably socialized medicine that liberals want would include that feature for everyone whether they need it or not.

But good luck seeing a doctor with the long waiting list for shrinks that is sure to occure under soviet style government run healthcare

Very well said. BRAVO!!!!!

I don't hate Trump, I am all for giving him a chance so don't think you know someone you obviously don't. The thing is, my eyes are open to his faults while yours are looking the other way.

I am also not the one making it a partisan issue, remember "lib culture promotes drugs?" Geez it's like you just rant about yourself and then blame me. :lamo

Here is the link to the actual HuffPo article. White Americans Are Dying From A Surge In 'Deaths Of Despair' | The Huffington Post

What you posted was a link to copy/pastes of comments from the comments section. Everybody knows the worst of humanity finds their way to the comments sections of news sites. :)

Your side started pointing partisan fingers first

Substance abuse should be an option in private healthcare insurance

News flash: if the rest of us don't help pay for that treatment, those people ain't getting it. Substance abuse treatment is an essential health benefit. Now more than ever.

You can stow your phony compassion now.

No, try again. I didn't use left, right, cons, lib, etc...you did it first. Own it.

Take personal responsibility for your actions instead of again trying to blame everyone but yourself.

Out of curiosity, how many substance abuse treatment programs do you, personally, donate to?
