Chicago Alderman Has Questions After ICE Agent Shoots Man During Raid « CBS Chicago
Apparently ICE agents came either to the wrong house or got bad info, but they rushed into a house with weapons drawn and shot a man who is in stable but serious consition. The problem being that none of the people in the house were illegals, all were American citizens. The ICE agents say that a weapon was pointed at them and that is the reason they shot the man. The family members say no one in the house owned a gun. Who is telling the truth, well with ICE agents doing the investigating, how do you think that will go. Wonder if any of the ICE agents carried a throw down weapon? And of course the only ones being arrested are family members. I read one article where the family also said that the ICE agentss did not identify themselves as they entered the house. The agents ought to be using body cams so we would know the truth and if they did not identify themselves then they are the ones who violated the law and should have all been arrested.

I wouldn't hazard a guess as to what happened but I don't believe law enforcement should investigate themselves in situations like this.

That is what I am saying with my post. I am not guessing who is right, but no agency should investigate itself.

We investigated overselves, and we have found ourselves innocent of all charges!
