Besieged on the Russian Front, blasted out of the water on Obamacare, and tweeting wildly while stocks drop almost as fast as his approval ratings, Trump can't even sell his ideas anymore.

A Quinnipiac University poll last week found that Americans see many of Trump's budget plans as a bad idea. They line up 67-31% against cutting research on climate change, and 83% to 14% against cutting funding for after school programs for instance.

"It is just astonishing how little support there is for anything the President wants to do," said a senior Democratic official. "No matter what the President tries to do next, the public is going to be opposed to it."

Trump's budget is nothing more than a shell game. Yes, he's making cuts in some areas, but then he plans to use those cuts for other areas. Same ****, different president.

Yes I agree the one opinion that matters is the 'real' voters and if the GOP keeps following trump down the rat hole two years from now will be interesting. The rabid right will still hang in there, most are from highly gerrymandered districts, but the more purple districts might shift to dem.

It will be interesting to see how the GOP congress critters act, are they willing to sacrifice their place at the public trough for they party goals like the Dems were for healthcare?

My money is on not, and Trump will be left a lame duck for most of his first term unless he rejects the BS of the campaign and starts finding common ground with moderate Pubs and the Dems...

All he is, is the Reality-TV Candidate, someone who knows how to muck up drama and run with it. He cannot manage a government, that's becoming quite clear.
