The last time we went down this road it led us to deficits that still plague us today. Bush decided that Clinton had goten us close to no deficit and that meant he could cut taxes. A majority of them went to the "job creators". Now how did that work? We don't need a tax cut today as all it will do is iincrease the debt, no matter how much they cut programs. And most of it will go to those who already own most of the country's wealth. I have sakd in the past the reason that the Bush ta cuts failed to produce, was they were aimed at the wrong people.

We are collecting more in revenues than we ever have before. The problem isn't how much we are taking, it's how much we are spending and projected to spend.
