Should the Media Apologize to Trump?

Being that what Nunes actually said, what Trump accused Obama of doing, what the press reported, and what you say above are not even close to each other, then no, the media shouldn't apologize for this particular subject matter.

^ Well stated. Thank you.

Now that Nunes has told us that Obama Administration spooks were indeed listening to some calls from Trump Tower.......

Should the Media apologize to Trump for calling him a liar?

They should apologize to the american people for being long standing liars but in the end it really does not matter because more and more recognize them for what they are.

Journalism died when they failed to vette the last administration and invest emotionally ever since.

A two line retraction after the fact isnt enough.

I said ...

and I'm pretty upset you don't remember every comment I've ever made to you.

I'll work on my memory. My apologies for not remembering that. I've had the flu. +10 for acknowledging it all has zero to do with Trump's claim against Obama.

Will you please learn how to properly quote if you're going to waste my time attempting to quote me?

Hatred of all things Trump. Ooh, good one. How original, too.

Your own posts convict you of that - not me. How'd I do on the quote function this time? Up to your standards?

You want to keep imagining things that nobody in the world has seen evidence of, then go right ahead. I'm not posting in the Conspiracy Theory forum so kindly do not quote me again with your conspiracy theories. I prefer to deal in facts. And if you have evidence that Barack Obama committed a crime, as you and President Trump have both accused him of, you will want to present your evidence to the Intelligence Committees. Posting on a message board when you have such evidence as your fingertips is a waste of the entire world's time.

If you read a little more you might know a little more. I'm not looking to dismiss Trump's obvious goof ball tweet. He didn't know what he didn't know and he should've keep his big mouth shut. No doubt about that. However, we do know now that the information illegally exposed was shared with the Obama WH. I do agree that getting to the truth here is probably a waste of your time.

Okay, so you agree Trump lied in his "goof ball" tweet. Good to know. Nothing for the media to apologize for, then. End of thread.

Sorry, but factually you can't get around it.
Both participants and their conversation were wiretapped ... regardless of who the target was ... yet the warrant specified only one target.
Look at it this way.
If someone plays a recording of an innocuous conversation between 2 people you don't know and they tell you it came from a wiretap ... can you determine which one of the 2 was the wiretap target?
Of course not.
You have to acknowledge that both were wiretapped and whatever information about the identity of the participants could be used properly or improperly.
It's a point some of us have been trying to get across to some of you for a while.

From March 7 ...

Get it now?
Illegally exposing those "unintentionally" wiretapped (or swept up in a wiretap, if you prefer) is finally starting to get some news attention now, when before it was ignored despite it being the only known crime.

If you don't want to be the subject of surveillance, i would recommend that you avoid doing business with the Russian mafia.
