Leftist, Clueless, Or Just Plain Biased Hypocrites?

As the 80 year old retired C-Span junkie morning call-in fan that I am, I just can’t help but comment on the absolute hypocrisy comedy and or clueless processes of the leftist “alleged” thinking and communicating.


Apparently most leftist don’t bother working because the C-Span morning call-in show always has at least 2 to 1 callers calling in on the Democrat line. Apparently they just sit at home and call C-Span on their Obama Phones.


With the Supreme Court hearings underway, the call in show is mostly about those hearings and the effect is Democrats moaning and groaning about Oibama’s pick for the court never even getting a hearing from the Republican Senate. Apparently either the Democrats are clueless that Obama’s choice didn’t get a hearing because of the Biden rule suggested by old Joe himself when he feared that Bush would appoint a judge in the last year of his Presidency, or leftist are just by nature biased hypocrites.

He said he's 80. That doesn't necessarily mean he doesn't work, but I think at 80 he can be forgiven if he doesn't.

Absolutely! I would also hope anyone inclined to rebut or refute the OP, recognize the propensity for early signs of Alzheimer's and related dementia among a significant percentage of retirees 80 years old or older.

Please temper any tendency to criticize the OP with a generous dose of kindness!

But it wasn't till 80 till it effected me. Leftist seem to have memory lapses much, much earlier as the OP mentions, huh? Ole Joe!

I don't know that Alzheimers is a problem for the OP anymore than it is for anyone else 80 and over. My Aunt is 94, still drives, and looks after her own affairs quite well. I recently met a young lady who is 96 who also still drives and all the rest, and mows her substantial yard with a push mower herself. OTOH, there's Hillary, who apparently doesn't remember a thing. Go figure.

You ramble from being 80 to a lengthy wrap of alt-right talking points about the greatest enemy - "libruls" and offer a video of a stupid tv filler. What is your point other than you can't tolerate libruls.

I say he should get back to work. Otherwise, he's in that 47% that doesn't pay federal income tax.

I haven't read the rest of the thread yet, so I'm not certain if they have excused him. Old leftists generally revert to their old hippy days, but who knows. Perhaps they've moved into a Del Webb community and are cooking Mongolian goat, hitting their bongs and their oxygen alternately, and still buying stock in Billy Sol Estes's empty warehouses.

What "liberals?" The folks complaining about Obama's Judge pick not getting a hearing aren't liberals in any sense of classical political liberalism, liberalism is the stuff that the Bill Of Rights is made of. The folks the OP identifies are "leftist" neo-communist, progressives.

I think you are reading things which aren't there. I have no problem criticizing the GOP, Trump, and especially so for the lunatic far right end of the spectrum, and as you have, have done so previously.

You need to look up the definition of Hypocrisy, because clearly you really don't understand the word or don't understand how the senate works including "Biden Rule"

Biden's floor speech was on June 25, 1992, more than three months later in the election cycle than it is now.

There was no Supreme Court vacancy to fill.

There was no nominee to consider.

The Senate never took a vote to adopt a rule to delay consideration of a nominee until after the election.

Nonetheless, Biden took to the floor in a speech addressing the Senate president to urge delay if a vacancy did appear. But he didn't argue for a delay until the next president began his term, as McConnell is doing. He said the nomination process should be put off until after the election, which was on Nov. 3, 1992.

McConnell took the speech out of context just to make a excuse (a very lame one at that). But there was no Rule and it never passed. At best it was a suggestion!

Spin it how you want. But clearly you are just as clueless and winer as those libies calling the Cspan. Now that is a hypocrisy!

That's funny, I don't care who ya are! So you want to argue that a Democrat controlled Senate would have considered a "lame duck" Republican President's appointee if the Democrat candidate was elected to the Presidency, right? Hilarious!
