Interesting info on Rachel Madow show tonight concerning Russian use of Twitter

your Trump Unacceptance and Resistance Disorders (TURDS for short) have blinded you to sarcasm

but yes I think the majority faith in the country ought to have some representation on the Supreme court rather than having it 44% Jewish when there are only 2% Jews in our country.

And here I thought they all had to be in the Ivy League for you.

Can you show me where religious tests are in the Constitution for USSC Justices?

Bannon would be proud of you .

well when Breyer or Ginsburg dies or resigns, it seems like that is where the agnostic or Atheist pick could fill in.

And we both now that kind of SC nom will come from a Dem. No way in hell would a GOP Pres nom an atheist to the Court.

Thomas is no spring chicken either. And, his life expectancy is the least of all 8, statistically speaking.

I was more surprised to learn that 5 of the 8 are Catholic (6 of 9 if we remember the Honorable Scalia). That floored me, to be honest. I certainly expected Thomas and Roberts to be Protestant...not sure why, just did.

Roberts went to a Catholic HS. Thomas Majored at the College of the Holy Cross. Souter and Stevens, Rehnquist and O'Connor were all protestants but when they died, or retired, the dominant religious group in the USA was left without a representative on the Supreme Court

I find it interesting that some people here are so incensed by the presence of a tv commentator, who is sharp as a tack, witty, funny, and has hands-down the best research staff on television, that apparently evidence of Russian created robo-calls are of no concern!

Except perhaps during the next election, when Russian created robo-calls might target the GOP. I'll bet that would get a rise out of 'em!

By then, the Frist/McConnell nuclear option will have blown up the Senate on USSC Justices as well as with the Parliamentarian, as Kamikaze Kruz wants .

I doubt if the Founding Fathers would have cared.

Just more tds---trumpistan deflection syndrome---from TD .

I just find it weird. But, then again, I find Catholicism weird.

Religion doesn't matter to Libertarians.

Unless, of course, they are Bannonite republicans.

trump and religion are rarely found in the same sentence .

He's much younger than Ginsburg, Kennedy and Breyer. In terms of statistics, Ginsburg having suffered colon and Pancreatic (she got lucky, a routine scan to check on her colon cancer remission turned up the pancreatic issue very early) is swimming upstream against statistics. Kennedy is seen as the next most vulnerable after RBG and then Breyer (80 and 78). Replacing all three of those I mentioned would really help the US. I have it on good authority that Scalia's fluffing of some gun restrictions in Heller was designed to help Kennedy, the least consistent Justice, to get on board.

RGB thinks she'll live to 100, from what I can tell.

I was watching Rachel Maddow show when they were discussing this.

A study was done concerning twitter and robo twitter during the last week before the election. It seems that over 18% of all twitter was robo twitter during that week. What was happening was if any twitter message sent out mentioned the Dems, Hillary or Clinton, that person would get flooded with harrassing robo twitter messages, negative ones against Hillary Clinton and some ever porn. This was being done by the Russians as part of their attempt to get Trump elected. It forced anyone talking about Clinton off of Twitter.

Great program with some eye opening info. It should be up on her website in a few hours and is well worth watching.

And more about the Russians.
