Trump breaks another campaign pledge

I'm sure Ivanka's role will be very minor at best.
 
For me this is like the tax returns. I personally don't have a problem with a President having family members on non-Cabinet positions or department heads in his administration. I also don't think a President should have to publish his tax returns. But Trump promised, which does does make these things issues.

As you pointed out in your last sentence it is the fact he said he would and flat out broke the promise on purpose.
 
It sounds like Berniecrats are getting tired of holding trump accountable for each new set of lies every day.

That's not what Bernie is working on and it's not how he's planning on beating GOPs in 2018 .

I have a very different opinion on tax returns, but as far as the OP goes, she will have top clearance with no plans to divest from her business ventures. Simply a very bad optic and tons of opportunity for impropriety. If Trump wants her in top level meetings fine, then she needs to divest. Kushner is supposed to, but hasn't as of yet.

trump's income taxes will eventually be subpoenaed by this GOP congress when the pressure reaches a point that they know their seats are in danger and when state GOP lawmakers who do the remaps pressure them .

1. Ivanka Trump will have no position in the administraton. She's just going to have an office in the White House. That's it. Nobody had a problem with Michelle Obama's mother staying in the White House. This is the kind of discrimination and prejudice that I've come to expect from liberals.
