President Trump back up to 50% approval

That is still pretty bad, and if you read the top part it says that those that do disapprove most strongly disapprove which is definitely not good for Trump. Most politicians also usually have an honeymoon period, Trump did not.

Come-On ... don't kill it for them, let them keep hope alive :lamo

Do you approve or disapprove President Trump’s job performance?

Both. More approve than disapprove. I wish he would ignore the conspiracy theorists and get on about his business (I understand why he doesn't). I also wish he didn't have his heels dug in on that healthcare bill.

That very well may be the reasonable and practical post I've ever seen from you. I suppose that could be taken as a backhanded compliment, but I truly don't mean it that way.

While "approve/disapprove" is opinion, the idea he should ignore conspiracy theories and get on with his business is something I think all of us (at least those of us not consumed with partisanship or craziness) can agree on. And you're right, digging his heels in on the healthcare bill probably won't do him any favors.

You should pay more attention. :)
Thank you, but...I don't buy that for a second. ;)

That is not correct. Rasmussen is a daily tracking poll. You posted on an up day.

His "strongly approve" is lower than his "strongly disapprove". The difference between the two is Rasmussen's index number. Trump is at -7 today.

That is far better than his -16 of a few days ago...but the trend [of a daily tracking poll] has been sub-par.

Trump Approval Index History - Rasmussen Reports?

He has had two, possibly three decent days since being elected. The rest have been colossal wastes of time due to his tweeting.

At this point, he is simply a national embarrassment at home and abroad.

I don't really care about polls, anyway.

You want a real indicator of how the President is doing, watch the upcoming Congress election & that will truly tell you..

Trump has experience with divorces so what's going to happen in 4 years won't be a total shock to him.

"Better days are coming." ~ But not for today's out of touch, running out of time,GOP.

Oh quick look, a squirrel.

You really wanna talk national embarrassment? Lets take the Democrat party as a good national embarrassment example. Don't have the White House, don't hold the majority in the Senate or the House and soon, will be in the minority in the Supreme Court. Right? If you look out over the broad expanse of the nation, you will see a super majority of governors are Republican. And with these about 70 of the 99 state legislatures.

So, if we are talking national embarrassment, look in the proverbial mirror, bro.

To add a bit of levity, you want real national embarrassment? Try going on youtube and watching the epic fail by Rachel Maddow as she leads the media pack down the rat hole with the hit [she swung but she missed] piece attempted on Trump's taxes in which he pays a higher percentage than Comcast, parent company of MSNBC, higher than either Obama or the guy supposedly so against the rich not paying their fair share, Bernie Sanders. I mean what a total farce. Hillary was completely wrong in saying Trump paid no taxes...

And what is great is that this allows even the low information voter on a path to the realization that the media has a hard on for Trump and they want to rape him against his will... that he cannot get a court ordered restraining order against the rabid entities that are just out for his destruction and so public opioion of the media is one of the true national embarrassments.

And I do not see a potential avenue for the MSM to regain the folks trust... so we are left with a totally non credible media = laughable national embarrassment.

Shame on them, shame on the Dem party.

Look most of the TV channels and newspapers are run by Democrats, so keep that in mind when you read /watch these so called polls.. its bs.

News International (Fox) is one of six multinational companies which control your media. Murdoch is as anti-Democratic as can be, and all his companies follow HIS editorial line. The others couldn't care less about your parochial politics.

The squirrel is Rasmussen, and those who discount the entire MSM as suspect, are lost to reason.
