I'm not sure since there are some real winners competing for tops on that list. Franklin Pierce, Nixon, Harding, Grant...just to name a few. But, apparently Donald is off to a good start.

2 Months In, Trump May Already Own A First: Most Corrupt POTUS. Ever. | The Huffington Post

Imagine a foreign potentate who uses his official position to promote his private businesses. Who makes face time with visiting dignitaries a perk for his paying customers. Whose top aide urges the citizenry to embrace products sold by the sovereign’s daughter.

For two months now, Americans have not had to imagine any of this. They have been living it.

As President Donald Trump enters his third month in office, he has already established at least one record, however dubious: the president most open and willing to use the prestige of the White House to enrich himself and his family.

No wonder the Dump idolizes Putin. He's following in his footsteps.

Yep, good honest folks like the Clintons would never think of using government power to personally enrich themselves - they got rich by producing wonderful products and offering wonderful services that make America great. ;)

While it wouldn't surprise me, I don't think we can determine that yet.

Of course they did, but the only Clinton to be President was Bill and I think this is about corruption during one's Presidency. Did Bill do anything during his presidency to profit him personally? I can't personally think of anything off the top of my head. The closest I can come up with was him pardoning his brother.

Not sure how you want to classify it. But the Clinton's went from being essentially broke when he left office to being worth over $100 million, with no job. Something happened.

The received over $30 Million in book deals. That would be a good start.

Clinton Presidency: The Most Corrupt in American History

Clinton Presidency: The Most Corrupt in American History | Ashbrook

"Like Richard Nixon, Bill Clinton also has abused the powers of his office, both by usurping powers that the Constitution assigns to Congress and by misusing legitimate presidential powers. Long before the Watergate scandal fully broke, Nixon’s unprecedented use of the powers of his office to create what critics described as an "imperial presidency" was roundly condemned by academics and Congressional leaders. President Clinton has taken the "imperial presidency" to new heights. He has set new, dangerous precedents for presidential over-reaching of commander-in-chief powers with his use of American troops as "peacekeepers"–essentially, a Peace Corps with guns–in the military occupation of both Haiti and Bosnia, without the prior approval of Congress. Just as President Nixon failed to faithfully execute the law by impounding funds appropriated by Congress, President Clinton has demonstrated a willingness to flout the law in order to further his pol
icy objectives. An obvious example is his administration’s unwillingness to enforce the Supreme Court’s 1988 Beck decision, ruling that workers are entitled to a refund of union dues money used for political purposes (such as the AFL-CIO’s $35-million announced effort to help Democratic candidates in this year’s Congressional elections).

More ominously, the Clinton administration has resurrected Nixon’s doctrine of executive privilege and extended it further than even President Nixon was willing to go. Not only has the Clinton administration invoked the doctrine to justify its failure to turn over documents subpoenaed by Congressional committees (most recently, a memo from FBI Director Louis Freeh that is said tobe highly critical of the administration’s anti-drug policy), but also to claim immunity for him from civil action lawsuits–such as Paula Jones’s sexual harassment suit–until his term as president expires. Clinton’s claim of presidential immunity is extraordinary and unprecedented; it amounts to the claim that the president is above the law."

And on and on....

In terms of corruption, the BO regime definitely ranked way up there. Using the IRS and other gov't agencies to attack American citizens and BO's enemies isn't my idea of being on the level. As far as DJT, I don't see corruption despite the endless whining from leftists. I mean I all but stopped paying attention to the kookers when they complained about DJT putting ketchup on his steak at dinner. ROTFL

It's hard to tell if he's the most corrupt ever. We should probably wire tap him to find out.

Better to just let him and his minions believe he is being tapped. There's a lot of fun in that.

Hard to say at this point, it's a hard title to contend for. He may have captured "most idiotic Presidency" this early on. Certainly "most embarrassing".

ROTFL.

Yeah, it must be a record. In office for 60 days and already the most corrupt in history. And the kookers wonder why Americans laugh at them and their fake news.

OK, that accounts for (almost) 1/3 of the wealth which, I agree, is a good start so please continue to explain what other valuable goods/services that the Clintons have provided us.

I never said they provided value. I just showed where a good chunk of their money came from.

Isn't it obvious? He has been POTUS for two months and he is already a billionaire. ;)

another i hate trump thread

No. This is a "is Trump corrupt?" thread. You should try reading those things you decide to quote.

you have shown in many other threads your hate for the president, that is very clear and the aim of your postings is to make you feeling good in putting it forward.

We surly expect folks to stop verbally promoting their business interests and to refrain from verbally supporting the business ventures of their children once elected to office of POTUS. That is why it is the law of the land and clearly stated in our constitution - impeach Trump immediately. ;)

Please remember that there would be taxes due on that income. As a NYS resident top rate is close to 50%. So cut that 1/3 to about 1/6. Long way to go. Especially with no job.

Hmm how do you become worth hundreds of millions by working in public service?.... nothing to see here move along...

He should be impeached for that!
