A bill or amendment I would like to see passed!!!!!

I would like to see a bill or even an amendment to require all salaries, benefits and retirement payments for our House and Senate members put to a nation wide referendum every two years as we vote for House and Senate members. If we think they are doing their jobs, they may get more, if not, then they get cuts. Maybe it would make them stop and think what is good for the country rather than what is good just for their party or themselves. We lack statesmen in our Federal Legislature, ones who think beyond what they can do for their political donors.
 
So when are you running for office ... you got my Vote. ;)
 
Are you kidding, who except power hungry jackasses would ever want to run!!
