Trump: "I Know" AHCA Hurts the Counties That Voted for Me

Trump today: "I'm 100% behind this" bill. But he won't sign it because it hurts tens of millions of people?

It will be interesting to see how it turns out. Much of what he has said about Obamcare is true, so that's one of the factors to take in. I think we'll eventually end up with single payer, though. It's not in line with my ideology but the current realities of the healthcare industry has lead me to believe that not much else will work.

Im not a big fan of the new healthcare law, but Im also " savy " enough to know it a improvment over ObamaCare.

I was also " savy " enough to know that ObamaCare would be turn into the disaster that it is way back in 2009 and the Ops a bit disengenous here.

Trump mentioned negotiations as did Ryan. Trumps right about one thing, the GOP could just let ObamaCare totally self destruct, causing even more harm to a Political party thats suffered staggering losses since 2010.

I think the Democrats and their supporters should be a little thankful that the GOP is getting rid of whats essentially a huge albatross thats hung around the neck of the Democrat brand for the last 8 years

I also think the Dems and their supporters havent a leg to stand on when it comes to criticizing legislation. Their suporters werent " savy " enough to predict just how destructive ObamaCare would be for the Nation and for their party

Why did you type "savy" multiple times and in quotes? There is no such word.

I don't even know what to make of this. He admits the GOP's health care bill is screwing his own base.

He knows. Do they know?

A lot of things aren't consistent!

???

"He knows"...what?

According to that interview, it seems he knows what the Bloomberg analysis showed. That's all. In any case, he says that this is going to be negotiated.

Sounds to me like he's going to let Congress do their thing and then he'll do his thing...and together they'll come up with something. Maybe people should just wait and see before they get all excited, eh?

The House vote is on Thursday. This is crunch time.

Oh, you didn't hear? When you put a word in quotes, it allows you to later go back and change the meaning of the word to whatever is most convenient at the time. So when Fenton put "savy" in quotes, what he really likely meant to say was "I idolize President Trump and hang onto his every word, like a school girl at a Bieber concert."

I'm surprised you weren't aware of this change, the White House mentioned it days ago. ;)

PS: Is Bieber still cool with the little girls? I'm too old to keep up with that stuff anymore.

HAHA my sons (all teenagers) HATE Bieber, so I think the answer is "yes, the girls still love him".

As far as the new rules of communications from Trumpland, I don't know about you, but I look forward to the end of his term. I'm even hoping at some point he'll step aside and let Pence have the job. Pence is at least past puberty.
