Nikki Haley says Trump never lies

Watching a talking heads show with Nikki Haley as the guest. Nikki Haley said she knows Trump and he would never lie. With his tweets he tells his people what he truly believes and thus what he says isn't a lie. I would think that it wasn't the truth either, but what do I know.

I am reasonably sure that "the truth" isn't measured by how much someone actually believes what they are saying, but by the validity of the statement itself.

If Haley is correct, then Trump is simply delusional and needs serious counseling.

Strange how that compares with his claims that Obama wiretapped his phones at Trump tower in a fashion comparable to Watergate*. He's already admitted that he said it because an NYT article and a TV show talked about government surveillance in general, not because of any specific evidence that Obama illegally wire-tapped him.

In wonder. Do I have to look into his heart to see what he really meant? How can I do that, if even his defenders, even the people closest to him, take ten days to interpret what he really meant......

.....after seeing all the criticisms to as to craft a response that tries to dodge them all, of course?

Based on her personal experience with having faced allegations of extramarital affairs, Nikki Haley might feel maintaining and advancing political status requires a politician have great latitude with the "truth".

Using the new Trumpism guidelines, Team Trump may change the meaning of a quoted word or words at their discretion.

At some point, the nation (with the notable exception of "Trumpeters" who will believe anything that POTUS says) is going to need to believe him about some future event. Right now, that simply won't happen. After two months of being bombarded by absolute bullchit and nonsense (largest inaugural crowd, 3-5 million illegal voters, etc.) I automatically assume that anything he says isn't truthful, until its verified by other sources.

I thought Trump nominated Haley to get her out of the way & allow a real Trump supporter the Lt. Governor
to take over the reaigns in SC. Trump put together a good cabinet with Haley being at the bottom of the Totem pole.
It would be real unwise for Trump to tie his views with those of Haley,

You might have more insight into this than I do. Maybe we can put our heads together and make sense of why he gave her such a high profile position. She shines under the spotlight when the MSM focuses on International News. She supported the Junior U.S. Senator from Florida Robo Rubio, the Wet-from-Sweat Cubano. Trump, in typical fashion, humiliated Rubio. Trump, I thought, tries to save Big Perks for those loyal to him. Do you think he cut a backroom deal with her?
 
Haley isn't exactly known for sticking to her guns. During the fight for the Republican nomination I couldn't believe
how anyone could ponder the possibility of Haley as VP pick at that time is beyond me. Some pundits actually where
touting Haley for that post. Haley herself went full bore into the endorsement process and like in 2012 when she picked
Romney & Gingrich swept the state, this time around she pondered between Buch & Rubio before picking Rubio while Trump
picked up all 48 of South Carolina's votes. After all those she endorsed failed miserably she finally endorsed Ted Cruz,
a haley endorsement seems to have been the kiss of death.

I'm not a Haley fan for so many reasons, I think she jumped at a job in the administration because she was unlikely to
receive another term in South Carolina. The only thing I can say favorably about Haley is that she may be a tad better
at the United Nations than Samantha Powers because Samantha Powers was absolutely a feeble representative for
this country at the UN.

YWLS is the largest gathering of young conservative women in America. At the 2018 YWLS, There were over 1,500 attendees from all over the country. The attendees are all high school or college aged conservative women (but anyone can join the fun!).

People say things all the time that they find out later to be not true. That doesn't mean they lied.

She was splitting the hair between misstating fact and context with willful lying. To do that, one must presume that Trump doesn't know his remarks bear little to no correlation with what's factually and contextually so.

As goes one such as Haley doing that, well, it is what it is, but at some point, and holding the office of POTUS is far, far beyond that point, one is obliged and expected to know "the Moon is not made of cheese." Thus even if one believes "the Moon is made of cheese" and states so, the only conclusion the rest of us, we who know damn well it's not so composed, can arrive at is that one who thinks the Moon is made of cheese is an ignoramus or a liar. As goes one who is POTUS (or holder of any other vaunted role/position), being demonstrably and profoundly so ignorant as to deny verisimility, and attest, moreover, to that which isn't, just isn't acceptable.

So though Haley thinks the POTUS isn't a liar on account of her thinking he believes so the stuff he says, it doesn't matter that she thinks he's not lying because even if he's not, that he believes that crap shows he's yet too effing ignorant/stupid to be the POTUS.

Although memes typically emerge organically, Mother Jones discovered that well-funded conservative activists and organizations have started training tech-savvy young conservatives on how to use memes to influence real world electoral and policy outcomes.

Turning Point USA, which is partly funded by right-wing philanthropist Foster Freiss, is prioritizing meme-training.

“Memes are tools for information warfare,” Boston University professor Gianluca Stringhini, who studies memes, told Mother Jones. “Probably this is a new way of doing politics. A new weapon that campaigns can use.”

Memes have been behind promoting conspiracy theories as varied as Pizzagate and the idea that Hillary Clinton was deathly ill during the campaign.

TPUSA had a budget of $8 million last year and helped promote “Big Government Sucks” memes on Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook.

So in other words Haley considers delusional a fitting alternative to lying. Haley just told us more about herself than she told us about DonDon. No wonder Trump's political "allies" are so frigged up in the head.

Why is it widely accepted that a rational intelligent individual would "truly believe" things that are not true? In Trump land that appears to be the hurdle one must clear.

In regards to Trump's lying.... His pal Scaramucci claims he lies because it is fun. I believe Mr. KellieAnn Conway had a good response to that, which was, compare the lies to fish.... Fish don't swim because it is fun, they swim because they are fish.

That's it in a nutshell.
