So what was Trump's 30 Day plan to defeat ISIS?

Why don't you give me the exact quote of Trump's promise first...then we can "discuss". My guess is he said it in such a way that he is right.

And if I remember correctly, and please let me know if you remember it differently, but didn't he also indicate that he would not divulge the plan or give advance notice of it to our enemies? So, exactly how do you know there is no plan?

Ok so, in further research, his actual quote was that he would developed a plan to defeat isis within 30 days. That vague wording does give him some wiggle room, since he may not have meant a plan that would defeat ISIS over the course of 30 days, but rather that within 30 days he would develop a plan of attack against ISIS that may take place over who knows how long.

But either way 30 days are up, and we have neither defeated ISIS nor began implimentation of a plan.

And I guess it could technically be true that there is a secret plan going on this whole time in the background that has had no visible affect on Isis yet and caused nothing worth reporting in the way of change in the situation in the Middle East, that is possible.

But I have to ask, if Obama had promised a plan to defeat Isis with in the first 30 days during his debates with Romney, and after 30 days nothing apparently had happened yet, and his supporters just kept saying well there's a secret plans happening in the background we just can't know about it, would you have been happy with that answer? Or would you have been raking Obama over the coals on whatever form you were part of? Would your reaction have been consistent with the way you're reacting to trump situation?

I suspect not, but I will let you tell me.

The O bomb, the Dems in general, wanted telegraphed every move we were about to make so our enemies had time to prepare and escape the damage intended. I expect expression of doubt by the opposing party, questioning of policy and the specific methods of accomplishing those policies.

So you are okay to question validly questionable matters, a good honest opposing party is absolutely necessary in a healthy democracy.

But you folks on the left have lost your credibility, you are attacking EVERYTHING Trump and so complaining against anything valid has lost its strength... that is your side's fault. Yes, I would and did question all the many bad moves the O bomb made.

And even though it appears Trump has done what he said he would do, Politifact cannot quite bring themselves to say its true, only that its "... in the works".

Trump-O-Meter: Develop a plan to defeat ISIS in 30 days | PolitiFact

Why because I didn't believe the hype when he was passing it off originally so not getting my panties wadded up now about orr because I see Trump is about as honest as the last two presidents and his opponent this round.

False equvilence as a way to weasel. That's why.

I have a hard time understanding your comment above, the wording is very strange. You seem to be saying that Obama said everything he would do to ISIS. That's not true at all. He would give broad stroke ideas, but I don't ever recall him getting on national TV and saying something specific like "We have identified the locations of X wanted person and will be drone striking him tomorrow at 1400 hours. In fact out of the thousands of strike Obama made during his term, I am willing to bet that 99.999% of them, we the public had no idea about at all until after the fact.

Now what I am really confused about in your reply above is this statement: "And even though it appears Trump has done what he said he would do, Politifact cannot quite bring themselves to say its true"

Trump said that within 30 days he would have a plan to defeat ISIS. It has been more than 30 days and as far as anyone knows there is still no plan. So what do you mean that it appears to have done what he said he would do?

Or let me ask it another day, how many days into his presidency does it need to be before we make decisive moves against ISIS for you to feel he lied? 50 days? 100 days?

It is true that all politicians bend the truth and lie, but only blind baby bat could look at Obama and say that Trump is an honest as him. Hell even Bush Jr, for as much as I didn't like the guy, wasn't nearly such a con man and serial blowhard as Trump.

Of course it is extremely unlikely that you will reflect on that and see the truth of the matter, but I have no doubt that history will vindicate. Ideally you are young enough to live another 40 years until the events of today become history.

I cannot put it all together for you, you will have to exert the effort on your own. I gave you the tools.

For instance, with the site link, you got the true quote which you never materialized but just waved at without quoting. Here it is:

We are going to convene my top generals and give them a simple instruction. They will have 30 days to submit to the Oval Office a plan for soundly and quickly defeating ISIS. We have no choice.

He did exactly that. Have the top generals gotten back to him, I don't know, but he did what he said he was going to do. Simple.
