New GOP health plan: tax breaks for rich, none for middle class/poor. No guarantees.

Leave it up to the GOP to turn lemons into lemonade: they basically took a law designed to make sure young people and people with preexisting conditions could still have access to healthcare, and turn it into yet another tax break for the rich.

A range of analysis, from health industry experts, economists and other researchers, conclude that the House bill creates large tax breaks for the wealthiest Americans, while middle- and low-income families may see no tax relief and much higher price tags for health insurance... along with far reduced access.

“Here’s the premise of your question. Are you going to stop mandating people buy health insurance? People are going to do what they want to do with their lives because we believe in individual freedom in this country.”

Yeah, I see, Mr. Ryan. So when a guy loses his job or business in a recession and finds out his kid just got diagnosed with leukemia, the only thing keeping him from buying health insurance is he just freely chose not to. Got it. Talk about "let them have cake"! :roll:

Republicans highest goal.... their top priority .... their eternal Holy Grail .... the one thing that unites all of them more than anything else .... is today and was yesterday and will be tomorrow TAX CUTS FOR THE WEALTHY. So they use this health care issue to do just that.

They are frauds. They are conmen. They are despicable in every way possible. Shame on them.
