President Trump listens while Obama liked to talk with very little listening

And none of his constant haters have anything to say. Which destroys whatever credibility they have.

Most Trump supporters call me a "Trump hater". Some of them are even stupid enough to say I'm a Hillary fan, even though I've been voting as a Republican since 1980, and have voted for every Republican candidate except for 2016, when I voted for Gary Johnson. And I posted in here. I gave him credit for the meetings with the community bankers, and I said why I applaud him for that.

Is there someone in particular you're looking to have come in here and post? I doubt you're going to get any Obama supporters to say "Trump is the bee's knees and Obama sucked!" because of your link.

I acknowledge both sides of an argument, maybe I'm just more mature than the average Trump hater?

I've acknowledged the things I liked about Obama. I expect the same from others. Unless they are adult children going through life which is what I suspect.

I don't understand...am I suddenly supposed to think he doesn't throw temper tantrums like a child and excuse his numerous provably false statements because he takes the extraordinary (and supposedly unique??) tactic of socializing?

What exactly are you saying here? Trump should get credit for meeting with people? Because that's just stupid. All Presidents (and almost all elected officials) meet with people. Why should President Trump get credit for meeting with people, like nearly every other elected politician does?

I'm not a "hater", I just think he acts like a child and constantly makes provably false statements. Because he's our President, I hope he makes the country better, but because of his personal faults, I'm quite skeptical. And I don't see how doing things which are merely part of his job is supposed to instill more confidence in me.

Trump likes the roundtable "business like" meetings in the Roosevelt Room, but he also enjoys the publicity that goes along with them. He is certainly an unconventional politician, but a politician nonetheless.

With historically low approval ratings and no concept of how to communicate with any bloc other than his base, he has a long way to go in gaining majority support and credibility.

Trump likes "friendly" crowds, but he is supposed to be POTUS for the entire nation. He can show us he is up to the job by taking his post election "roadshow" to a Blue State for a change.

Interesting paean.
I wonder if Andrew Malcom will ever be able to get the taste of Trump's seed out of his mouth.

I have a hard time listening to a person who knows no truth. Veritas and trump will never meet. Frankly Hillary would have been a far superior leader than the grand b---h of Putins, Rumpy.

You created a thread claiming that the fact that Trump has meetings shows he is "winning." I'm not sure why you expected it to be flooded with comments within hours of your having posted it, because you did not say anything of substance.

Politicians have meetings. News at never o'clock.

And that's exactly what I've done. You said the "constant haters" have nothing to say. I'm accused all day long of being a Trump hater, and I said something. I focused right in on that and I applaud him for working with the community bankers. I also opposed most of what Obama did but would commend him when I appreciated something. Isn't that how non-partisans are supposed to act? You know, not everyone who criticizes Trump is a "hater". Some of us are just plain old Americans with an opinion. It just may not always be the same as yours.

Historical low ratings by the same fake polling that had him losing by 100 electoral votes. Trump is hugely popular in this country, your fake media and fake polls aside.

Globalist Granny would have made a wonderful leader of the party of corruption.

If you say so, Baghdad Bob!

Trump sucks and Obama was he bee's knees. there, someone said it. And go ahead and let the banks bankrupt the nation once again like they did nine years ago. Yeah, that makes good sense. And the people running the banks will once again walk away with millions while the rest of us pay the bill, ONCE AGAIN.

You do realize that many of those polls were of "likely voters". Given that Trump LOST the popular vote by approx. THREE MILLION votes, those polls can be interpreted as being correct.

And no, I don't buy the fake polls, fake news, illegal voters conspiracy theories that the "Trumpeters" seem to mindlessly buy into. Most of the incorrect information that gets interjected into the media emanates from Trump and/or his administrations ridiculous comments or miscues..

Here is a quick analogy of your Trump "hugely popular" claim: If you have a 100 people in a room, and 30 of them are vocal "loudmouths", the "vocals" SOUND like a overwhelming majority. In fact, they are simply the same 30% minority that they always were. That is what Trump has.......;)

Trump has a minority base and likely always will. He isn't a "uniter" by any stretch of the imagination.
