In Flynn, Trump got a person who would lie for him

He fired him.... hes gone..... ???????? Hes not part of the administration, and not head of the NSA.... his accolades should be acknowledge for achieving the rank of LT. General... But regardless if he is scummy or not...hes not in the position....

Not quite...Flynn has developed following issues, that is why so many have not wanted him around these last years, this member of the Rebellion would like to know what made Trump so sure that he could be trusted. If I got ten minutes with Trump this would be one of my questions.
 
When the trump team vetted him, he either lied outright about working as a foreign agent or lied by omission. Either way he lied to them. that is what is the problem with hiring someone who is willing tolie so easily, you never know when they will lie to you rather than for you.

Actually I had to fact check myself..... for a couple of thoughts

1) Did Flynn assume office, yes he was the actual NSA head -OK
2) Did he need Senate Confirmation - NO he did not, Yikes, fact checked,
3) Trump named him, WHY did he with all this going on in the back ground, YIKES....


Hmmmm..... a little sketchy as well, gotta read more into this.

You see...."what was Trump thinking" is actually an interesting and more than likely relevant question. Now I know that Trump had no reason to think that the Elite would spin this yarn about Russian tentacles into the Trump Administration out of thin air, which came about because they have nothing better and they at least suspect that Trump was trying to scope out some idea of a deal he could do with Putin if he won, but add in Flynns history of playing cowboy and I have to ask "Was Trump at least concerned? Because this seems high risk even for the premier "Go big or go Home" guy".

Yes very interesting now that I have taken a step back.

1) I am not buying the Russian conspiracy theory. LOL... for a while it seem plausible because I could not wrap my head around how the news got the polling so wrong, Clinton had to have the elections in the bag, Trump even knew it, but pulled it off somehow. I questioned if maybe there was some funny business. But coming into this forums and learning, I see a pretty good 50/50 going on. So it validates that it could have gone either way and trump has a respectable amount of support.

2) Flynn has an Intelligence Firm with his son, That is his business....his retired lively hood and likely what he is good at, at the fact that he was picked as the NSA head along with obtaining the rank of LT.General. That being said, it does not surprise me that Flynn being active with many foreign envoys and delegates does not sway my dismay to him. Who not better to ask then those involved deeply in it.

3) side rant, the other day someone said Trump was a sexist and relies on his wife and daughter to talk about women. I laughed and said who not better to ask about women then the women he knows, and 2 affluent women at that.....(Bill Burr) Its like me (Bill Burr - a male) writing a book about the trimesters of a pregnancy and what to expect... What the hell does a man know about pregnancy.... Get your opinion from a credible source. That being said, Flynn was active with Foreign people and dealings, WHO not better to get advise than those in the know?

4) Was Flynn doing FUNNY business is the real questions....... Seriously just because he was dealing with them doesnt make him a criminal, unless he was doing underhanded dealing, quid pro quo kind shaddy dealings.


So again... YES he was doing dealings, BUT was any of it actually criminal or illegal. Or was Flynn actually a qualified person on behalf of the job....


Last note, This is all moot though because he lied... if he was NOT doing anything shady.... he could have been honest?....Again though gotta read more into this...

Ok.... but again... in what capacity did he not qualify for the JOB? This I question first.... It sounds like he would be GOOD for the Job, experience, knowledge dealings etc. His Outside of politics job, was an International Intel group? While financed by an outsider, heck we owe china so much money, and many business are bankrolled by outside of the US entities to evade taxes likely LOL (all BS btw)


Point being, Trump being ignorant, again hes not a Politician, and not vastly knowledgeable about the rules and regulations as the Red tape seems to be absurd. Was his pick based purely on the ability to do the JOB? Again he seems like a good fit for it.....

I guess I wonder, so what if he had foreign dealings with his retired job...... Was there any criminal or illegal activities was there any quid pro quo going on like the previous administration. At this point we will never know, as he is gone....as weird as this would sound, The media should be praising Trump for getting him out after realizing he was bad news. Rather than the media blowing it up because of the bad pick...

Ya it is all BS in reality because for almost all of the Trump Campaign Putin and Erdoğan were sworn enemies because Erdoğan shot down one of Putins very nice fighter jets ( and his friends in Syria killed the pilot ) with cause so thin it can not be said to really exist...being a friend of Turkey could not in any way be construed as being a friend of Russia using the guilt by association argument. The fact that today we see the elite trying to spin this yarn is a sign of weakness, as in "If this is the best they can do...". Plus taking a contract from a Turk does not prove that Flynn was even a friend of Turkey, a member of NATO I remind you, they are according to the elite a friend (so was Russia for many many years, though that does not stop the elite from trying to jam up Trump for doing business with Russians when a lot of "GOOD PEOPLE" were doing business with Russians, which again proves the desperation of the Elite. Or maybe it proves that they take the American people for idiots, we could argue the point).

All this is true, but I still want to know what gave Trump the idea that FLYNN would be a loyal enough team member to make him a member of the team.

Actually Flynn was lobbying to have a Turk sent back that the present president of Turkey wants to punish for something no one thinks he did. That is why we are not sending him back. And for that Flynn was paid over half a million dollars.
