All the way back in August 2016, the American College of Pediatricians took a brave stand and proclaimed that gender ideology harms children. They updated their post in January of this year, and it must not go unnoticed.

If a boy who questions whether or not he is a boy (who is meant to grow into a man) is treated as a girl, then has his natural pubertal progression to manhood suppressed, have we not set in motion an inevitable outcome? All of his same sex peers develop into young men, his opposite sex friends develop into young women, but he remains a pre-pubertal boy. He will be left psychosocially isolated and alone.

The American College of Pediatricians is an organization specifically formed to protest acceptance of homosexuality and transgender issues. They are named deliberately to cause confusion between them and the American Academy of Pediatrics

Anti-transgender lobby group "doubles down" on their core platform? Ya don't say.

I have no problem with people wanting to be a different sex.

But I truly believe that lately, society has been bending over too far backwards to accommodate and even encourage the changing of a gender. In fact, I think it has gotten downright silly.
I assume many/most who want to 'switch', genuinely do. But I also think that several do it for attention or for distraction or any number of psychological reasons. Heck, it even seems to be getting almost 'cool'.

I do not think for one second a man should be treated as a woman just because he announces he is a man (or vise versa). Imo, he should be treated as a man right up until the moment he is medically altered to become a woman.

If a man declares he is a woman and wants to use the female bathroom right away? Tough. As far as I am concerned, he should be forced to use the male one until he is medically changed into a woman.

Personally, I think society as a whole would be better off if everyone used the same bathrooms...but that is another story altogether.

That to me sounds like trying to purposefully confuse people into believing you are a professional organization should be illegal.

The American College of Pediatricians (ACPeds) is an anti-LGBT hate group founded in 2002. It bills itself as “a national organization of pediatricians and other healthcare professionals dedicated to the health and well-being of children.”

Like other organizations, ACPeds involves itself in judicial matters, and files amicus briefs with various courts in support of or in opposition to various cases.

What its website will not tell you is that this fringe organization, under the veneer of its professional-sounding name and claims, works to defame and discredit LGBT people, often by distorting legitimate research. It consists of around 200 members and started because a small group of anti-LGBT physicians and other healthcare professionals broke away from the 60,000 member American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), composed of leaders in the professional field, to form its own group after the AAP issued a new policy statement in 2002 in support of adoption and foster parenting by same-sex couples.

The gurl wrestler in Texas said in an interview. ..that her and her Mom were driving home from school one day. The mom asked her...do u sometimes feel like i boy... the girl said she replied. .well maybe sometimes...

The mother says that settles it ..u are a boy...so lets go get medz for treatment and so she started taking the medz

I almost never agree with things posted on American Thinker, but that post is an exception. I don't believe anyone has any business using puberty blocking or other means of gender altering before adulthood. If they can make it to adulthood and still feel like they are in the wrong body or whatever, they can decide what course they want to take. Of course, this probably applies to a very tiny fraction of children.
