You're playing into my hands with that one. The sarcastic reply to that is. well yeah! typical american half arsed effort, you just cannot get it right the first time. :)

LOL! I doubt 10% of the world population has any idea where or what new zealand is. But you guys keep trying.

Would not surprise me at all. I would give even less odds on an american figuring it out. But you keep on advertising just what absolute crap your government is. A failed experiment that should have been abandoned long ago.

Our governmental structure is better than most countries. Yes, you have a parliamentary system, which has some advantages but all in all a Constitutional Republic as we have here has worked very well for us over the past 230 years.

Bottom line, I like the Kiwis. One quick question: Why no nuclear power? I would think y'all might need some soon.

p.s., I apologize for being snotty in my remarks about no one knowing about New Zealand. Sorry.

Thank you for the apology and i too apolagise for reacting to your statement.
Your form of governance is certainly better than some but i would disagree strongly that it works well.
NZ is one of the three countries in the world that does not have a written constitution. I would argue that america has the exact same ability to and should become the fourth country to do so. Your constitution has become a liability, an albatross around the neck of america. No fault of its own as it says some quite good things. But because of americas obsession with religion and poor education standards it is seen now more a holy writ of god rather than a document created by men.

That is easy enough. Google up a map of fault lines and volcanoes in nz and then you tell me where would you put a nuclear reactor. Auckland our largest city has around 53 volcanoes in the area alone.
As well we have a bounty of renewable resources. wind, water and thermal energy that we can tap.
