Pro-Trump town riled up after ICE arrest popular restaraunt manager

"Pathway to citizenship" is only a euphemism for "amnesty." Like other euphemisms, it is used to conceal something people would be less likely to approve of if it were stated in plain terms.

Again, I am talking about people who were brought here as children.

My husband and I talk about moving to the middle east a lot. He is always going there for work. The cities are modern and outstanding, and everything costs less. Nobody has medical debt like they do in the US.

I'm fascinated by ME culture. What country?

Sounds great. But, more people come here than go there (ME overall), and there's probably a reason why. A few better examples does not necessarily make a paradise.

We are talking about a girl who was brought to country as a child. She only knows America. You're making a conscious decision to treat her and speak about her like a criminal. We kick criminals out and ban them from reentry. That seems really damn harsh, when you could instead decide to give such people a pathway to citizenship.

But she is a criminal... knowing her status as an adult why hasn't she gone home? Why is she choosing to illegally stay in a country she's not granted status in? Citizenship should be granted fairly and based on merit. It's unfair to others to grant citizenship to criminals because they've chosen to illegally stay here for years.

Are you suggesting that she have been deported years ago so it wouldn't get to this point?

Omg. She was brought here as a child and she is still a minor. How many teenagers would feel comfortable leaving everything they know for a country foreign to them simply because they were born there? You're putting unrealistic expectations on her, and calling her a criminal for it.
