Re: Obama shrugs off Russian hacking — until Donald Trump elected president
Trying to deflect again.
I didn't call you a Trumper. Read my post again.
As I said....the Democrats cared a lot, and the free press reported on things, when information became available. The possible Russian connection was discussed by the public a lot, and in particular this forum. The Republicans and Trumpers were saying it was a bad seed Democrat and that there was proof of that...and the Dems and objective people were pointing out the obvious: that it was probably the Russians, since it obvious what the goal was and Russia had done this before in other countries and this was Putin's M.O.....later, there was information that it was in fact Russia.
We now know it was Russia.
This has been in the news for quite some time.
I pointed out months ago, when Trump made the comment at his campaign rally....asking loudly "Russia, if you're listening...." and asked Russia to find more of Hillary Clinton's emails. Within days there was another dump of Clinton emails in Wikileaks. I pointed out then that it sounded like Trump was sending a message to Russia, and Russia complied with Trump's request.
So yeah....everyone has been concerned and talking about this for almost a year. Officials, like Obama and others, had to be careful what they said publicly. But there was plenty going on behind the scenes, including ongoing investigations by intel, and the preservation of information by the White House and Congress.
Trump and his team are totally responsible for their communications during their campaign. No one else. If they weren't in communication with Russia, they have no need to be concerned. So far, though, they are not willing to be questioned on their communications...unless they have to, like Sessions and Flynn. When those two were questioned, they lied.
It's really a sad display when people who call anyone who doesn't mouth foam with hatred for trump "trumpers" et. al. I've shown numerous links in this thread indicating you are wrong about this. Perhaps you can discuss them instead of calling me a "Trumper". I didn't vote for the guy. He's too big gov for me.
