Testosterone is a banned substance. you give kids that young testosterone, this is what happens.

Let her wrestle the boys as she wants or not at all given it's an unfair advantage to be Juicing.

If you wrote that about Bruce Jenner, I would tend to agree with you. As for Mack Beggs, do you know for sure? I admit to not knowing for sure. I suspect the intersex category included Mack Beggs.

If some of the medical professionals who examined Mack Beggs at birth diagnosed DSD, would this substantially change your point of view?

Why would you suspect such a thing? I don't see any evidence that the kid is intersex.

Maybe we should just eliminate the division of sexes in sports all together, which would almost guarantee that girls almost never get to compete. Assuming we still score sports the same way.

And no there won't be some legion of fakers since that would be seen as dishonorable and they'd be heckled relentlessly. Almost as dishonorable as what the state of texas is doing

The differences b/w a 17 yr old boy and girl are far less than between human and cat, FFS

It's very often you can't even tell by looking at them that they're transgender. Whereas a cat is, i dunno, 1/10 the size of a grownup human, has a tail, 1/7 the life span, eats rats for fun, meows etc

Several other posts in this thread referenced intersex. Intuitively I suspect Mack Beggs struggled long and hard with sexual identity before opting to transgender and hurling himself into a Texas tornado of controversy.

Without statistical evidence to back me up, I would not propose that intersex factors in to a majority of transgender cases... though it would not surprise me if intersex factors in to a statistically significant higher number of transgender cases the younger the transition occurs.
