What Diversion Can Trump use to take the heat off?

There was no trend from Obama. Don't even think about trying that Crap.

Dozens of companies reacted to Obama's reelection by announcing Layoffs.

The economy reacted to Trumps election with one of the biggest stock market rallies ever and the stock traders chanting "Lock her Up". Companies reacted by announcing they are creating new jobs, bringing back from over seas and the CEO's specifically giving Trump policies credit. Foreign investors reacted by announcing new investments that will created tens of thousands of new American jobs and specifically giving Trump policies credit.

Unemployment was dropping quite steadily under Obama, and the economy was growing. Have you been under a rock for the past 4 years?

So you're telling me that if the media hadn't had hyped of Trump taking a call from Taiwan it still would have been a big deal? Give me a break. No one would have even known about it.

How else are we suppose to know about it? So it is the media's fault that Trump is burning bridges? Trump's incredibly stupid statements and Twitter rants are not responsible in anyway?

You defend them for looking after their own interests and criticize our policies for doing the same?? How ridiculous.

Far less ridiculous than your acceptance of Constitutional violations to meet your own self-serving agenda. Please show us all where the Constitution places limits on how many SCOTUS nominations a President can make in a single term. I will be patiently waiting. When you post such information to substantiate your belief that Garland was treated fairly AND Constitutionally, I will gladly apologize for all to see. Tick tock, tick tock, tick tock.

The idiot tried attacking and suppressing the free press with his senseless "fake news" accusations. That didn't and won't go well as he tries again and again.

He should just get his house in order and flush out the scum -- other than himself.

The fish, in this case the WH, rots from the head.

And where are those jobs that the "trumpeters" keep claiming have occurred? I know! They were they all "gobbled up" by the 3 million plus illegal voters.......LMAO

You'd have been better off leaving out your first sentence. Now I can first focus on YOU explaining how the HELL I accept Constitutional violations to serve my own self-serving agenda. Well??

No, apparently you have been under the rock. U3 is dropped mostly because millions are unemployed so long they give up looking and are no longer counted.

Trump is in need of a diversion! He needs something to take the public's attention off that Russian thingy, off the high cost of flying his family all over the world for Trump organization business, off the fact that he goes on a small vacation every weekend, off the chaos that's going on in the White House.

Repeal and replace Obamacare with something everyone likes "that will insure everyone," as Trump said?
Pass that massive tax cut "reform" bill that mainly cuts the taxes of the wealthy down to the level of someone earning $50,000 a year?

No....I'm thinking...."Lock her up!" I saw that surface in an article this week. How perfect, to focus attention on the really bad Hillary Clinton, the criminal who responded to an email with a "c" in the body of the text, from a private server! How dare she! That's treasonous! Lock her up!! (and don't pay attention to that Russian man behind the curtain)

A little red meat to the supporters, about whom Trump said that he could shoot someone in the head, and they'd give him a pass.

But seriously, I think a diversion is coming. The W.H. is apoplectic about the information getting to the public. He's trying to shut the free press down, but it won't work. So there has to be a diversion. Something to get the press to talk about something other than the millions we're spending flying him and Secret Service to golf in Florida every week, and those communications between his team and Russia during the campaign.
A war is the best diversion there is. Focus on the enemy without, and you forget about the enemy within.

I'm saying that the media, to include lying (e.g Trump hanging up on Australian PM was a lie), is making things even worse.

Trump is in need of a diversion! He needs something to take the public's attention off that Russian thingy . . . .

There is no 'Russian thingy'.

White House Asked FBI To Publicly Refute Reports Trump Associates Had Russia Contacts : NPR
The White House is admitting that it discussed with the FBI media reports that Trump campaign officials were in contact with Russian intelligence agents and that Chief of Staff Reince Priebus asked the FBI to publicly knock down the story.

FBI Director James Comey refused.

The administration is pushing back on a CNN report that White House officials "sought the help."

A senior administration official told reporters Friday morning that FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe asked to speak to Priebus on Feb. 15 and told him the report in the New York Times about Russia contacts was inaccurate.

Priebus had first been approached by McCabe after a meeting in Priebus' office on another matter, according to the official. McCabe told Priebus the New York Times story was wrong, and then Priebus asked McCabe, "What can we do about this?" the official said. Later, according to the official, McCabe called Priebus and told him the FBI "would love to help but we can't get into the position of making statements on every story."
The official said Comey later reached out to Priebus and said "the story was garbage."

According to the official, Comey told Priebus, "We'd love to help," but that the bureau wouldn't "get into issuing a statement."
The official said Priebus got clearance from Comey to say publicly that "intelligence officials" told him the Times' story was inaccurate.
"FBI’s deputy director, Andrew McCabe, personally told Priebus last week that the reports were “BS.” He may have also called the reports “bull****,” the officials said."

In spite of what fake news sources would have you believe, Priebus did not go and seek out the FBI for a public statement, he was approached by the FBI and told that NYT's reports were bull****, and then asked if the FBI would care to make that statement public.

Seems pretty clear that McCabe took Priebus' request to Comey, and Comey declined to get the FBI in the middle of calling balls and strikes on every fake news report. Can't say I blame him.

A diversion is always coming. When has it not?

You'd have been better off leaving out your first sentence. Now I can first focus on YOU explaining how the HELL I accept Constitutional violations to serve my own self-serving agenda. Well??

Your previous comments about denying Garland a hearing. You were fine with it because you were afraid of another "left-leaning" SCOTUS and commented on how Obama already had nominated two. I can find the old post if you are having memory issues.

He has already laid the groundwork for getting away with anything he chooses. Making the media the enemy of his followers. That way he can simply continue to urinate down their legs and tell them it is raining. The Trump lovers - incapable of thinking for themselves - have already proven that he is the "Manipulator- in- Chief.

I wouldn't have forgotten that, VetPlus. But how is denying Garland a hearing unConstitutional? In fact, I'm seeing the Dems doing the same thing today in retaliation.

Heres a thought. There is no heat.

The rats lost the election. Of the 65 million rat voters theres a relative handful.....maybe 10 million that are bought and paid for agitators that are running around acting like spoiled children. The simple reality is that they are steeling the GOP voters against their pathetic actions and they are causing moderate liberal voters to get very disenfranchised with the whole politics thing. Oh...it makes good media, because the media whores are invested in the DNC. But beyond that...does anyoen REALLY believe it isnt a bunch of whiny ****ing malcontents funded by rat donors via PACs that are out there generating all this 'heat'?

The best thing Trump and all the GOP republicans could do (they wont) is just get on about their business and ram **** down the rats throat. Point out every day their pathetic and anti-American rat antics. Stop doing town halls...instead adopt video firesides and take phone calls. No one believes that the rats that are going to those town hall meetings are anything more than the same vermin that have been ****ting themselves since November 9th. So...press on...carry on...**** those whiny assholes. Let them dig their own graves. Speaking of which...let them keep ranting and stomping and 'resisting' all they want. As soon as they break the laws, apply fed RICO statutes for organized criminal activity and nail those pathetic ****s to the wall. I promise...things will die down quick fast and in a hurry as soon as they face real world consequences.

pretty damn shameful to see a US military vet supporting a wannaB tin pot dictator like tRump but hey; if that floats your boat girl ............

The Federal level RICO Act was instituted as a tool to fight organized crime aka the Mafia; it eventually went on to be utilized in 'the war on drugs'

I know folks that were prosecuted via RICO but that anit gonna happen to individuals protesting at 'town halls' ......... LOL .........

There is one strong similarity between Trump and Reagan. What you describe is as to Reagan's "tinkle down economics". After those above consume all they can, then urinate the waste of that onto those that voted for it.

I remember Reagan testifying before Congress during the sordid Iran Contra BS; Reagan stated, "I don't recall" more times than I have taken a **** in my entire life.

I found it so IRONIC to know that Reagan actually ended up with Alzheimer's; the universe gained some serious balance there

another 9/11 would be perfect; it worked for G W Bush ............ his poll #s went to 11 (Spinal Tap) but besides that, not only America BUT the world rallied behind LIAR Bush

it would work perfectly for tRump; he is the best liar the GOP has had since G W Bush, or Reagan, or Nixon, or ???????

yeah; that all works ............

Do you actually believe this trash that you post?

Do you actually believe this trash that you post?

they are ALL liars & yes; G W's poll numbers went up ~30% immediately post 9/11 = talk about a great diversion for Bush II ..........

one man's trash is another man's treasure

one man's freedom fighter is another man's terrorist

None of that disproves my point, all of that is Trump saying it was because of him. Plans like those are years in the making.

Oh come now. Dont be so sensitive. Its just an abbreviation...a 'term of endearment' if you will. Its a very commonly used descriptor that leftists often engage in to describe 'Cons'...and I dont see anyone ****ting themselves over that.

That it happens to so completely fit the whole 'vermin' thing...well...thats just a happy coincidence.

I do beg your pardon. I didn't realise calling your political opponents rats and verim was a term of endearment. I had always associated it with the words of dictators.

He has just made America's enemies hate the US more and has alienated America's friends.

Hopefully they will add fear to that hatred. Which friends have been alienated? What you said here applied to the former administration.
