I am so disapointed with you left wingers..... Seriously how?

I'm MSNBC and FOX. I didn't hear him say that, but it's not a particularly new thought. I've also heard them called the fourth branch of gvmt which I actually think is more accurately descriptive.

I watch all 3 and they all carry the opposition party phrase, so it's really quite impossible to miss it.

If you watch Bannon clips, you can't miss him saying the media is the opposition party.

Though I could understand why listening and watching Bannon speak might make one's stomach curdle .

What Hillary said is that 1/2 of his supporters are deplorables...not 1/2 the country....so it actually would be about 1/8 of the population. However, no....deplorable does not mean "those who are not left of center". I know many good people who are conservative. I may not agree with their politics but they are not "deplorable". The "Deplorables" are the racists..homophobes, sexists...etc.....that gravitate to the Republican party because the right-wing social agenda is what they want to push. This isn't the majority of the Republican party...its not the majority of Conservatives....in fact, its a small fraction of them...but lets not pretend that those people don't exist...because we've all seen them being loud and vocal at Trump rallys.

Ha!. I didn't even see the assistance you were trying to offer Rev with his numbers problem before I went ahead and posted.

I'm starting to think it's not worth the effort with some of these people.
As authoritarians, they gravitate toward the herd mentality...
So it's no wonder that they would want to represent their "movement" as larger than it actually is.

Hell, Dear Leader does the exact same thing.
And really... who are we to be triggering their deep insecurities by challenging them with stiff like facts?

Then again... even if they are too stubborn to show us gratitude for correcting them... someone who isn't helplessly lost may read what we wrote,
And gain a measure of objectivity.

The last time I saw something this disturbing it was when school kids were on the Today show singing songs of praise the the glorious leader Obama after his election.

Freaky stuff

Looks like a math fail to me.
Or you simply have the original source quote wrong.
Or you're lying.

I'll let you choose.

HINT: Clinton said half of Trump's voters are "deplorable". That's nearly 13% of the American electorate. How is that "nearly half the country"?

I am sure that cost her some eventual Trump votes. Why Trumps sexual abuse comments didn't cost Trump votes, makes her 13% comment a gross under-estimation.

How could you not be making this guy number one on your radar?

This guy is such low hanging fruit! Holy crap what a bucket of crazy.

Some things are just better left unsaid.

That said...."bucket of crazy" works for me.

Why are you so desparate for my attention, brah?

Is calling people stupid your alt-right game plan with this dishonest thread?

Your trumpistani deflections to Bush and Cheney are noted and dismissed as moronic nonsense.

It was good for America to see alt-rightist Bannon at CPAC today and now have his chilling remarks on public record .

My "alt-right" what now? your mouthfoaming I think is contaminated bro.

voters or supporters, I honestly don't remember. either way, she was talking about the half that didn't support her.

My mouthfoaming is contaminated RH?

Good to have you on record as supporting the alt-rightists Bannon and Miller.

Even though TPAC tried to call the alt-right wingers in your GOP 'left-wing fascists' .

wtf are you talking about?

I calls it as I see it. if you don't like it, lump it!

I didn't know we could call people racists in this forum, RH.

There's no question Bannon is an alt-right wing racist, but that doesn't mean his goose-stepping followers are racist, does it ?

One half of one quarter is one eighth, though I abhor Clinton's remark about deplorables, both humanitarianly and politically .

Yes, those "deplorables", all of them, nearly half the country...... Does that actually make sense to you?

Donald Trump received ~63 million votes. By what fuzzy math is that "nearly half the country"?

There were approximately 232 million eligible voters in the 2016 election.

63/232 =0.25 or 25%, though I realize this is 'so-called math' .

Who is that guy?

What is this even about?

This is sort of like me starting a thread about Milo and asking why right wingers love having sex with underage boys.....

Let's be fair to the Rev. "Half the country" must've been intended to refer to persons who cast votes, aka, people who give enough of an opinion to actually cast a vote, which is what matters.

I'm not entirely sure that eligible but non-voting persons should be listened to. They are entitled to their constitutional and statutory rights, sure, but when we speak of America's opinion they shouldn't be included. They didn't bother to express it in a way that matters.

And even that... Hillary said that ONLY half of Trump's voters could be put in the "deplorable" basket... so <13% of the possible electorate.
Doesn't that seem like a conservative estimate to you?
