Mich students demand no-whites-allowed space to plot ‘social justice’ activism

Racism implies a belief that one race is superior to another. The demands are stupid and regressive but probably not racist.

Yeah, and if it was a bunch of white kids with the same demands and goals I doubt you'd feel teh same way.
 
Next, they want their own restrooms and drinking fountains!.............and separate eating accommodations in restaurants and hotels. And their own sections on public transportation......................oh wait
 
Obama did more to destroy racial harmony in America than all the race baiters in the prior 40 years.

Apartheid schools existed in all of those administrations. But regardless, you are arguing that Obama caused something based on a correlation? Did Obama put a gun in Mr. Zimmerman's hand?

It is indeed racist, because there can only be one intent for it: to keep the two races separate. There can be no other reason to do so.

It is an interesting philosophical question. I wonder how one enforces segregation in these times.

Other than in small segments, I would think it virtually impossible, especially since there are many people of mixed heritage, and only if one were to cling to that archaic thought of "one drop" would it matter.

There should be no segregation, we are all humans.

If the activists want a place to meet to discuss such plannings, then they should be the ones who put themselves in isolation, behind the locked door of one of their own dwellings, or rent a motel room. I'm sorry, but the thought process behind 'you must keep them out, we have important things to discuss' is a combination of an 8 year mentality and looking for someone to nay-say them to make themselves 'visable.'

Don't feed the trolls, kinda covers this IMO.

I suspect, they do believe in the superiority of the other race and need a safe place in the hope of not being reminded of the thought. 40 years of treating them as though they couldn't take responsibility for themselves has done a lot of damage.

Kind of funny that a group to increase social justice is trying to socially neglect the largest racial group in the country. I guess that's okay these days though. :doh
 
They should be able to segregate themselves in private institutions, but if they want a public institution to suppress rights based on identity then can blow themselves.

Actually, it is racist.

Discriminating against a person or group of people based upon race, is an act of racism. Check the dictionary:


Merriam-Webster - Racial prejudice or discrimination

Websters - Any program or practice of racial discrimination, segregation, etc.

YourDictionary.com - The practice of treating a person or group of people differently on the basis of their race.

Because if there is one thing leftists/globalists cannot tolerate, it would be a unified country.
